What about posts that have nothing to do with any posts in the thread? I'm on to you, forum gnomes. Well that's just silly.

Uru Live.No battles, just exploring and hardcore puzzles. I second this. Is this just Myst with multiplayer? Is this something good to grab a friend and solve the puzzles together (as opposed to one player knowing the solutions already)?
Yeah, Uru is especially fun with friends. It really makes it all a lot more fun. It's also got a really close-knit community who is very welcoming to new members.

Mine's void of icons, as I usually have some awesome, inspiring image as the background. Like this one.

Yeah, Melly actually posted right before I was going to, so I had to redraw part of my cell. It's so fun when your work can be ruined at any second.

So if he's indie why is he running Chrome in the background?
you don't seem to understand the inherent nature of being indie -- to be indie is not to be indie, but to be attempting to be indie -- to pretend to be indie is the most indie of things; to work at it; to struggle; not to naturally be indie, but to strive forever to be it. you will also notice that chrome is open to the page where you download netscape navigator. Well shit, I got served.

But why is that a step backwards? Who gave you the right to determine what is "correct" in a series? If you made one of the X-COM games please tell me because then, yeah, you might have something to complain about.
I'm just saying that your old X-COM games are still fine, and some new entry won't ruin it. Just block it out if you really need to that badly. It's not gonna destroy the series. It's just making it different. There's nothing wrong with that. I just don't get this sense of entitlement.

So what's wrong with that, again? How exactly does that "shit all over" something?
I mean when I check my X-COM disc I don't see any brown splotches appearing. Looks like good ol' UFO Defense to me.

You guys realize that Star Trek takes place in a future where world-wide communism has taken hold and the only professions seem to be in the service industry or the military, where the former serves the latter, right?
And how they're, you know, always at war. With Klingons, or Romulans, or the Borg, or the Cardassians, etc. etc.
EDIT: By the way I love Star Trek.
