Thanks for the emails, the talented roomtone will be doing the audio, yay As far as the game, progress has been slow but I'm going to trim the games length to about 5 minutes so I can realistically finish it between real life commitments, I don't really want to give away to much so hopefully I'll be able to post something playable soon.

Tiles need a ton of work, well that and everything else, anyone great with sfx and music? I need some dark midi tracks and some female screams would be tops.

Hi guys if anyone out there wants to cover the voice over, and or music/sfx for http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=7086.0 it would be awesome, anyone who can pull of a sort of grim sounding series of tunes, low-fi midi sorta shit would be cool, though mp3 or alike would be awesome also, voice over should be a series of crackly type recordings so equiptment isnt too important, if the voice over proves too much of a problem it can be avoided completely. Ill do my best to finish the entry, ill be covering code and art n design though input is certainly welcomed As far as the sound design, so long as it fits with the theme of the game then its all good and ill leave it all to whoever wants to take on the task. I wont have too much time to work on the project so I don't expect much in return either, just something small and polished really. hit me up at [email protected]

Sounds fun! Required viewing: Deliverance, The Evil Dead, Irreversible, Tetsuo II: Body Hammer, A Clockwork Orange.
What are the rudiments of your concept?
Recently dated a rape victim, she was young when it happened so I didn't really freak out too much, but its playing on my mind lately, heard it all through her, haven't seen anything of those except Evil Dead however. Anyway its all good ill be back if and when I have something to show, I don't really want to think about how im going to do it too much, ill be back if and when I got something to show that doesn't suck.

EDMUND MY DL LINK: http://www.paul-greasley.com/Edmund/edmund.zip PLEASE EXTRACT! Play the 2 parts to the game, the two different characters on the menu are the links to each of there stories... Theres several endings to the game, I hope you enjoy and don't forget to tell me what you think... cheers. CONTROLS ARE X,Z AND DIRECTIONAL ARROWS This is a short game is about 2 characters and a series of events centering around the rapist, Edmund, if your considering downloading it, check the video out first. I realize it might not be everyone's cup of tea, but hopefully some people get a experience out of it, beyond the obvious. As far as bugs, send them to [email protected] or PM me here would be great, I can't guarantee Ill be fixing many of the non-game breaking bugs, so expect fixes to be at a glacial speed at best. If you want to email Compound his email is [email protected] . Thanks to Compound who not only made the audio spectacular, but also assisted with the design and with general feedback, and everyone here who gives it a play, or finds a bug, or both ORIGINAL POST: The name says it all, I want to make a game about a rapist, it might be a struggle to finish on my own, but better than drinking my life away right? Just parkin a thread for now, gives me a bit of commitment to actually making something, haven't touched art or games in awhile but now seems like a good time to start again. I will probably think of a better name, but for now that will do. More to come, whenever that is

Didnt have much chance to check this today, probably the last time I will because I feel like im trapped between two people arguing over some realy stupid shit, wes vs cas, man vs man. YOUR SPACE INVADERS CLONE IS A CLONE OF MY SPACE INVADERS CLONE - about sums it up. All this hate from making game art (which I do for free/hobby) to indies who ask has made me reconsider ever working with other indie programmers and the general scene again, just getting no satisfaction making over other peoples games only to get people like cas rubbishing me, and the general immaturity that follows a games release. If its any help when wes talked to me about the art, he didn't mention titan attacks, it was mostly cheesy 50's themed reference he trawled up on the net, I just ran with it from there. See you guys around, cas, grow up

Another thing dude, Space Mutants from Space was made for free, no sponsors, no ads, we aren't making any money on it (well apart from kongs ad revenue - woot beer money) , we just wanted to make a kickass space invaders game for free for people to play, thats it. I think you are spinning this shit a little bigger than it needs to be. Does pixel freak out every time someone makes a freeware cave story clone? HOLAY SHIT THE WORLD ENDS
