Finally watched K-PAX, definitely my kind of movie, although I never enjoy watching Jeff Bridges without a beard.

Wow, I don't believe anything that has trademarked menu items to not be a joke.

As soon as someone plays this new game it will be all over the internet that it's actually Frog Fractions 2. The thing about the original game is that even if someone told you specifically what it is you'd still be surprised.

I think the walk cycle is great, the only problem is that it's not synced with the move speed so it seems like he's walking on ice. But the animation itself is great, gives a sense of a lightweight, super fast, hydraulic mecha. The kind that makes TSAP-TSAP-TSAP noises when running.

Im mainly interested in trying it with vehicle/mech games as I can see that working the best, since your avatar would be seated too.

Wasn't Star Citizen supposed to support OR? That was definitely the most interesting OR project I heard of, for this very reason. Imagine having a real physical controller that mirrors all the devices in your cockpit and mapping your hand movement into the game...

So how does trading work now that the AH is gone? I haven't played D3 at all, so if someone could tell me how is trading different now than it was in D2 I'd be grateful.

Oh god, I wanted something like this for so long. And the pixels and general art direction look amazing too! And seeing how good the kickstarter goes, it will have Linux support too, YES!

I love it, also getting a tabletop vibe from it. It's the best kind of vibe.

This looks pretty impressive and awesome!

The gifs look extremely floaty. I think the game would be better if it was faster, it seems the current levels might be to tight for a faster gameplay, but I would consider making them spacier at the same time.

I understand that you want to pace your game however you want, but I really suggest that you give it a go - almost every time I made a game I made it too slow and floaty at first, and it seemed fine to me until I sped it up, then it suddenly became much better.
354  Feedback / Finished / Re: I Am The Bomb (devlog) on: March 14, 2014, 06:30:36 AM
Welp, the game is done, it can be downloaded here:

Windows
Linux 32bit
Linux 64bit
Mac OSX

All in all it has 3 levels, 3 types of enemies, 5 or so weapons and 4 music tracks by Sabonis.

Fun.
356  Player / Games / Re: TowerFall Ascension on: March 13, 2014, 08:44:15 AM
With 'ping in the teens' even a game like samurai gunn would play well. But it's a question of wether it's worth the effort if playing over the internet would probably be too much.
I never played any fighter online, but if it takes less then your ping to block or dodge an attack than I don't see how you can compensate for that.

There is also an additive particle shader in Unity by default, but I don't know if using a textured plane instead of a sprite is an acceptable solution for you.

Cool story.

OK, I spaced the platform in the hard difficulty, changed a few sounds and made you only stick to a wall if you press against it - hopefully it will be more intuitive now Smiley
I also added high score recording and four looped music samples by Sabonis, hope you like it!

Windows
Linux 32bit
Linux 64bit
Mac OSX

Thanks a lot! I plan to keep the game simple, just a few more minor tweaks and it will be done. I want to finish this and start a new, much more ambitious project Smiley
Music is what I am currently working on, two tracks are already loop-trimmed and added, two more to go!
