It is possible to turn the blacklist off if you want to, though the process is not straightforward, and it could cause visual glitches.
Fair enough, but I can't expect everyone else who plays my game to go through all of that as well. This advice is only useful in the context of a single machine.

I wish somebody had warned me about the deadline for the predictions part of the compendium before it was too late to write them down. Oh well...
I'm actually more interested in seeing the item/skill builds of players at TI3 rather than what team wins. Learning about new strategies is the kind of stuff that has an impact on my own gameplay.

Thanks,
BTW Do you have experience with similar programs (Game maker) that did run ok on your netbook ?
Sadly no. I've only used Construct 1 and 2 recently, and Multimedia Fusion/The Games Factory before that (those programs all work in a similar way so it was easy for me to transfer my old TGF/MMF skills to Construct).

My experience with Construct 2 is that it ran very slowly on my netbook (Asus EEE 901) even though it's usually able to handle indie games. I haven't tested it extensively so it's possible that I was just using the program incorrectly, but as of now I haven't been able to make any action games that worked well on my netbook using that program, which I could in the original Construct.
I don't know what the performance is like on a handheld device, but I can imagine the results would be similar.

I'm probably the only one here who still plays this thing, but the latest patch on Spiral Knights has removed the mist energy system. It no longer costs you anything to take the elevator to another level; you can play for as long as you choose. The only purpose of Crystal Energy now is to purchase things from the Supply Depot (i.e. fastforward your item progression). If you ask me I think they might be too generous, but we'll see.
Battle Sprites have also been added to the game, which are basically pets that give you additional abilities. I picked the Maskeraith and it lets me inflict poison at a distance or become invisible for some time. I might be wrong but this seems like the only way to become invisible outside of the PVP arena. It enables some very interesting tactics and is incredibly powerful when combined with the Fire status bomb.

Spotted some reduntant redundancy in two of the rules: Creating an account created solely for the purpose of harassment.
Creating an account created solely for the purpose of spamming.Aside from that this looks great; I'm looking forward to seeing how the forum develops in the near future.

Good stuff so far: The game looks awesome, the writing is great, and there's a lot of freedom with how to build your character.
The railroad-like level design does annoy me. In most of the areas visited it's quite obvious what the game wants you to do (here's a shop selling cheap coffee, and here's a thirsty policeman, can you figure this puzzle out?), and it pushes you towards those tasks, rather than letting you explore the world at your own pace.
But overall I'm enjoying the experience and I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the story.

Yeah, I was surprised by how similar to XCOM:EU the combat is. Even the weapon icons/ammo bar looks the same. It's OK with me though because I loved XCOM.
I'm going to just take a million points in Charisma and let my allies do the fighting because that seems to work pretty well for me in other similar games.

So is anyone else pumped for this? I have my copy and I'll play it the hour it comes out. It's a dialogue-driven RPG, it's turn-based, it has a level editor... there's no way for me to not like this. It would be a mystery if I didn't.

Can't they just nerf the backstab by making it harder to use or less effective (in PVP)? I don't get why this has to be such a big problem.

Force staff is pretty cool though I always forget it exists. I somehow always opt for Rod of Atos on many int heroes, probably because Hex is steeper and I don't like Eul's... I haven't noticed much people use or like Atos though.
I like Rod of Atos but I do admit it is a bit non-standard. It's not completely necessary on any hero to my knowledge, but there are a few who do benefit from it a great deal. Basically, if you play a hero who relies on enemies not moving too far in a short time, then Atos is a good choice. Ancient Apparition makes good use of Atos for example, since it keeps them in place long enough to trigger his stun effect. Same with Lina and her stun. Skywrath Mage's ultimate is notoriously difficult to aim, so if he gets Atos it becomes much easier for him to use his skills and reduces the risk of whiffing an ultimate.

Is it too nooby that I love buying Urn on almost all heroes?
Nah, some items are just flexible like that. You can fit an Urn into the item builds of most heroes if you're feeling up for it, because it's cheap and has multiple uses. It's the same with Drums of Endurance. My friend Jon is like that too. He gets tons of Urns while I personally never buy it. Another item he loves to get is Force Staff because it lets you do all kinds of crazy shit and always feels like it has a use in the situation you're facing.
