Chzo Mythos -series

Which reminds me, Trilby: The Art of Theft is another awesome one.
And I've yet to play Iji...all this talk of it makes me think I probably should.

An Untitled Story is up there for me, as well as the other obligatory indie titles.  Grin
And also Noitu Love 2.
One that really blew me away though was Battleships Forever. I seriously loved that.

I think that layering the story helps quite a bit with replayability as well. Even if the game offers nothing new on a second play through it can still be fun to play through the game again and pick up on all the foreshadowing etc that you might have missed. Although very few games do this though to be honest.

Well thankfully it runs fine on my amazingly crappy laptop. The gfx are very nice and the mouse control works a lot better than I thought it would. Feels very cool to quickly zip through a tight gap at the last moment with a flick of the wrist. Great stuff!

For some reason I was mainly concerned with his wearing of half a hoodie.  Undecided

EDIT: Although it's actually mental how much he looks like a robot in some of the others.

Ah man, I always love seeing your sketches. Kiss Coincidently, I also bought a moleskine for the first time recently after hearing people rave about how nice they are to draw in. I'll definitely be giving that a go now.

Well, for someone new to pixel art that's pretty darn good. I much prefer the archer sprite to your original. Will they be that resolution in the actual game? I can't offer much crit though, I'm no pixelhead, but they look good for sure. A grand improvement =]

Ah nice. Alchemy's great for this kind of thing. You've got some really cool designs in there.

Man. I was hoping the black onyx would give it away.

oh right Durr...? I never knew there were certain types of stones that were meant for male/female.

Fuckin' wallpaper'd
also.

As for the ring, I think whether it's tacky or not depends on what kind of formal event you mean, and of course the type of person wearing it. It is designed to be worn by a man or a woman?

Nice addition. However, I'm not sure the water would reform that quickly after the rock, after splitting in to two.

Does anyone know if there's a way in GM to find direction from vertical and horizontal speed. I haven't done vectors in a long time (2 years is long... ¬.¬) so I can't remember the equation(s)(?) to work it out manually...Gah!
380  Player / Games / Re: Portal 2 on: May 02, 2011, 02:04:02 AM
Seemly Portal 2 makes people feel disappointed, because the chambers have usually only 1 solution, and also they removed all ninja-ing.

Whilst the variety of solutions isn't as large as Portal, there still seems to be a couple of other (mentally hard) ways to complete some puzzles. transgenic86 on youtube
