Who's used what, heard what about what... on the Indiegamer forums it seems like it basically comes down to BMT Micro and Plimus (Matthew Wegner said about the same in his Indie Bootstrap session at GDC). But is there any reason why anyone chose one over the other? Or decided to go with a different service altogether?

Because you didn't specify HOW you want to "use" the femur shards, you place the shards in your mouth and then slam your face against the mailbox, sending the shards shooting out of your mouth and cutting yourself quite severely.
Now try using a more specific verb!

Bono jumps back quickly, exclaiming, "What the bloody hell do you think you're doing! Them's my nards, boyo!"
Bono is giving you a look of disgust.

Ah yeah, Loaded was a fun game! Gods is great, too. FAKK 2... the actual game doesn't have the Biz's unique style, imo. I'd love to see him more involved in the visual design of a video game... with a developer that understands his work well enough to capture the feeling, too. Gears of War was kinda close... although it was too generic.
Actually I remember there was a game that he was working on that never got finished. I think it was a Western theme or something. Does anyone remember what it was called? I remember seeing a guy on a horse with a gun...

Without having played it (and I will try to very soon... I'm in a bit of a work crunch atm), I would say that the graphics are good, but could be bumped up a notch to make it a "must buy" (assuming that the gameplay is really solid). Right now it has the kind of heart that I love seeing in indie titles, but lacks the kind of polish that people expect when they shell out money. I might suggest seeing if someone on this forum can help out with the pixel portraits and UI... use your existing designs as a base and just smooth out the rough edges.

It'll Sell. On a similar note: BloodWrathLord Vendetta contains over 40 minutes of full FMV, featuring Sniping, Pump shotguns, Headshots, Continuous case ejection.....and much more!!
Story:
Lt. RawFist is a cool muscle fortress with a stone face.
His muscles are incredibly getting bigger day by day, easily recognized even under 4 inches thick armour. I found a part of his battle armour torn, where his muscular arms can bee seen!!
Obviously, it is his adrenalin... Why? Why the hero has such a heroic body?
What will be happening to a hero who became a target of a generic evil force plotting to destroy the world!?
- In ammo feeding scenes, blood gushes out from dismembered bodies in detailed real motion!!
- Case ejection scenes are even more enhanced!! A lot of cases flows forth from his oversized guns!
- Cross-section image of weapons is equipped for the first time!
- Full voice! Exciting sound effects!
- Comes equipped with Album mode and Movie Control that enables you to see what you want to see instantly! You know, I would actually like to see a game that takes that trend of "BIG GUNS, BIG DICKS, BIG TITS" and pushes it to the ultimate extreme and is made well, with style. The problem is that no one takes it quite as far as your parodies, Arne! I want to see a video game designed by Simon Bisley:

Man alive! Those are the kind of graphics which'd make me write a rogue-like. SERIOUSLY. Man, the pixel skillz on this board are top notch! More more more!

1) Same reason you read Charles Dickens if you're a literature fan.
2+3) I think about how much money Blizzard makes off of WoW and SC1. Such theft puts them on similar moral levels as rapists - they're both taking something from you.
4) ^_^
1. I guess... seems like a waste of time, though. 2/3. I've never understood the mentality that a successful person deserves any more hate than an unsuccessful person. But then again, you're equating creating a video game to rape without any hint of irony or sarcasm, so you must live in an alternate universe that is beyond my comprehension. But yeah, if playing Starcraft is violating you physically and emotionally, robbing you of your self-worth, and also putting you at risk for VD, I would suggest that maybe you stop playing video games altogether! 4. :3

Questions for Shinji16: 1. Why have you played through games (several times) that you think are shit? 2. I'm just wondering when you say "shit," are you using such an extreme term to compensate for Blizzard's immense popularity, or do you really believe that they are shit? Because basically I can totally understand if you don't enjoy playing their games, or somehow feel like their games don't live up to their potential, but to call them shit is just... well it discounts the incredible amount of hard work, time, and talent that goes into polishing a game to the level that Blizzard does, and I feel like a game developer should be more aware of things like that. 3. If you "hate" Blizzard, what word do you reserve for child molesters, rapists, and Peter Molyneux? 4.

I hate Blizzard with a religious passion I'm glad too that it's not another shitty MMO. What's with you people? Talk about a terrible mindset for game design. Word! You can dislike certain games or certain genres, but to use words like "hate" and "shit" to describe Blizzard... C'mon now!
