I dislike the new layout. I used to just open each forum into a tab from the board index - Now I also have to open nested sub-forums.
Ah, same here!

The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett, "Hogfather", footnote

Seeing, contrary to popular wisdom, isn't believing. It's where belief stops, because it isn't needed any more. Terry Pratchett, Pyramids
A game where the medium in which it is placed is being meddled with. As in, the HUD constantly changes, the enemies are not where they appear, powerups are actually not helping... the true challenge is to learn what is real, and what is not.

How could have no one mentioned pineapple? Clearly, pineapple is the only logical way to go. (Except the poster whose actually named Pineapple. Maybe.)
Why thanks for supporting me, the ultimate Pineapple!

Maybe we could have the subforums each with a seperate link, and still keep a single forum that has all of them? Like, Art and Design, if you clicked THAT, would show EVERYTHING included in it, but you could also click an individual subforum, Art for instance, to see JUST that?

Ah, okay. If you ever need help with ideas, humor, anything, just ask. Also, that is an AMAZING twist. Is he also your dad? Maybe the killer of your 'fake' dad? Because we all need that cliche again. Yes, it is required of all decent plots. (in all seriousness...) It IS a parody...

Player / Games / Re: Why On Earth Would You Want To Make Your Own Game If You Already Know The Ending

I want to make my game ideas into games not because of the ending, but the experience. Writing a nice, gripping end feels great. But playing, and getting to that ending is much better. I want to enjoy the gameplay and such of my idea, not the story. That's the same with other games, and that's why I am only mildly annoyed by spoilers.

No, he means that it gives a sense of... well, I can't say either. Maybe, confusion? But not a REAL confusion... weird, I can't put my thumb on it.
He is saying it is... unfamiliar, I guess... to him. It feels... alien. Just like what 'hardcore' games feel like to 'casual' gamers.
