I think you're doing it wrong.

Melly? More like SMELLY!

Why hasn't Jason Rohrer been mentioned? I'm terrified now.

Yeah, Super Joe never wrote anything that was both long and intelligible.

That was completely intelligible. I don't hate anyone on that list, infact I think they all are very cool people, but he does bring up valid points.

Kid A.

Yeah, the best Mouse album for me is always a perpetual battle between The Moon, Sad Sappy Sucker, and A Long Drive. I can never decide, and I doubt I ever will (or want to!) Smiley

While I agree that those are there 3 best albums, Long Drive will always be my personal number one. You get the rough sounds from Sad Sappy, with the arrangements from The Moon. It's the best of both worlds. And the guitar at the end of Mechanical Birds is my favorite sound coming from a guitar ever. EVER.

Wait, I thought Lonesome Crowded West was universally agreed to be their best. As for me I can't decide between ANY of their albums, barring the last two.

I think making the main character a photographer would work in a normal war game as well- it would explain the learning curve, where at first you're not very good and i dunno your teammates are more protective.

It's great to hear that someone else thinks the same way about survival horror games as I do. It would be very interesting if there was one where you are nonviolent, but the enemies can still hurt you. This definitely would add a lot more powerlessness (as Destructoid's Anthony mentioned) in games.
I haven't played it, but wasn't Penumbra like this?

And I think the Silent Hill remake will be like this?

Do not give up hope. Hope is all we have left. We all need to focus harder than we ever have to get out of here. Must of all we can't lose trust. It's possible one of us is a murderer but we can't blame anyone until we have absolute proof, otherwise we'll turn to savages.

Taminane's death is quite troubling. If you see anything suspicious make sure to tell me.

Again, don't make me spacetaze you bro!

At a glance it looks like he's punching the dude in the face.

I wouldn't know, I don't actually have an iTouch/Phone. This makes me happy though as I may be able to force one of my friends to get it.
513  Player / General / Re: Langdell does IndieCade on: October 07, 2009, 01:32:29 PM
Maybe I'm just a terrible, terrible person but if I were near Langdell I'd have an overly loud conversation with a friend about Edge the game. "HEY, DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THAT GAME? EDGE? IT LOOKED SO COOL BUT IT'S OFF ITUNES CAUSE SOME MANUFACTURING COMPANY OR SOMETHING SUED THEM. I WAS REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO IT TOO. HOW DISAPPOINTING."

If we're going down that route, games that exist.

I probably seem real angry and bitter. I'm not.

All cliches have advantages, that's why they're cliches. They can help you immensely or make people hate you.
516  Player / General / Re: What are you listening to at the moment? on: October 04, 2009, 04:27:44 PM
Thanks, but I already got it. Listening to it now while I write a paper. The progressive-ness is kinda turning me off, but it's still amazing.

Oh wow, Lightning Bolt and Converge? I think I'll wait on the LB album since I'm probably going to buy that when it's released, but I've got a Converge album to find (I do plan on buying it, just not for a few months).

Games that avoid cliches.

I know, my point was I don't listen to much metal at all.

Although I don't see any southern influence in Coalesce.
