The only bands I listen to that I'd classify as metal would be Converge, Botch, Coalesce and various doom/sludge/post-metal bands like Neurosis or Earth.

Actually, I think the barrier of entry for an aspiring videogame designer to catch a break is lower then either music or movies.
As an aspiring filmmaker, musician, and game developer I agree. I don't even dream of being in a successful band, and pray I can one day make films and not eat ramen for life, but can totally see myself making some moolah gamemaking.

Iji (pacific or VIOLENT ) Pacific or violent? So you can kill aliens or become an ocean? Pacific means peaceful. Do you think they just named the ocean out of thin air? I don't like the be a saint or a baby-puncher games either, becuase it's gimmicky and I feel like I'm missing half the game if I follow one path.

Was it in a James Bond film... when the bad guy presses a button and a woman falls into a pool of piranha. At the time I didnt know what piranaha looked like, all I knew is that they ate people very quickly I imagined them as big black and white stripey fish with somewhat human faces Of course now I know that's not true That's the one where he pretends to die, right? Yeah, that poisoning scene (where a ninja poisons a sleeping person from the fucking CEILING) stuck with me, and mixed with my arachnophobia to make me never sleep on the ground ever. Speaking of arachnophobia, this. My cousin's cousin's friend had to shoot one off a dudes chest while it was eating him. In his sleep. It literally makes me feel pain just thinking about it. Also, dolls. They just creep me out. They're a combination of a baby and a toddler. It's unsettling. Why would anyone want to own any?

A whole crapload of CDs my friend gave to me- Cute is What we Aim For, Fallout Boy, Pas/Cal, Motion City Soundtrack, We The Kings... and this is only about half of what she's got.
Your friend listens to bad music. Anyway, I'm checking out the Protomen right now. Before that it was Fugazi, and before that Converge.

My list isn't the best representation of the games I most enjoyed, or the games I think were best designed, but I figured if I just typed fifteen games out it would be a much better gauge of what is memorable to me, which is the true measure of how good a game is.
1. Half Life 2 This game is totally titties. I actually deleted my save file halfway through just so I could play the first half over again.
2. Super Mario Bros. It's great. I still play it.
3. Paper Mario It's funny, fun, pretty, all around awesome. I need to dig up the 64 and replay this.
4. Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker I'm going to admit, I haven't played more than the first few dungeons (and had a blast), but this game is so great I actually sat down and watched someone play almost the entire thing, and loved it. I still don't know why I haven't bought it.
5. Killer 7 This game is also totally titties, but in a completely different way than HL2
6. Roller Coaster Tycoon: Loopy Landscapes When you learn how to hack the game it becomes an art form. I'm not even joking.
7. Portal Probably doesn't deserve to be on the list, becuase I had way more fun playing this than I should have
8. Timesplitters 2 Same as Portal. Maybe it's the nostalgia but I still play this with friends
9. 6 Days a Stranger Very intriguing story and creepy mood. Also my first point-n-click, so it holds some sentimental value for me.
10. Super Smash Bros. Melee C'mon, this game rocks
11. Tetris So simple yet so compelling
12. Metroid Fusion I'm not going to lie, this was my only Metroid game apart from Prime 3. Soo... yeah.
13. Left 4 Dead And I don't even have friends who play it with! It's a blast regardless
14. Shadow the Ninja This game truly makes me feel like a badass ninja. Somehow
15. Metal Slug 2 I lost so much money to this game. So much. You might say 3 is better from a technical view, but your mother doesn't love you
Honorary mentions: Barkely: Shut up and Jam! Gaiden and Ark 22.

Speaking of Princess Mononoke, how about the bit where the main character blows off a guy's arm with a bow and arrow?
Haha, I was watching Mononoke a few years ago with some family members, and at that scene my then eight-year-old cousin says, "Yeah, I don't think I can bear this." I still haven't finished watching that.
