I swear, if we all combined our forces, we could have one killer RPG on our hands. Anyone down for forming a gigantic RPG dev team? And yes, expect me to post MY RPG sprites here in 3...2...1...
It'd be an incredible clash of CLASHINESS. But could be amazing. Also, this: i hate the house. i need crits!

I thought everyone on this forum is obsessed with pixel art, and had zero tolerance for other kinds of artwork, until I found this thread.
what made you think that? love your style though. the shading is fantastic

Wouldn't having 493 (actually 986 - regular and back) relatively big sprites take some space?
Just did a quick research. It seems the DS cartridge has a maximum size of 512 MB. The ROM for HG/SS has an average size of 40 MB, but I don't know if that would be the actual size in the cartridge. I don't deal with DS development or game art, so it is just an uneducated guess, but I would say it fits. the biggest ds cart im aware of is 4gb. only 4 games are known to be using it so far though. i doubt gamefreak would be using a 4gb cart though. its for games with heavy customization and a lot of 3d and anime cutscenes.

It is some sort of a bear that is walking. I don't actually know if a bear's walk would look anything like this, though. it looks so GROOVY! i love it hahaha. To absolutely noone: You should totally check out Mother 3, the level of detail in the sprites is amazing, but the world is fantastic too. You can find everything from vice grips to ferris wheels and they're all so tiny yet so readable.
fixed your post for you because if you havent played mother 3 yet you dont exist I haven't played a single Mother game yet. Uhm guys? Hello? CRUCIFY HIM!!!!!

I have a Wii, I have a DS... and I have never played any Wario title since Warioland in my old GameBoy! Should I give them a try?
YES, DAMNIT! WarioWare is TITS. I'm loving DIY myself. Easy to learn and fun to use.
