Have I mentioned how I'm sick of the damsel being trapped in a place that makes it impossible to get without using a bomb that will probably kill her

too bad that trick doesn't work all the time though, sometimes the shopkeep will magically shoot through the block.

He must have really good buck. Speaking of shop keepers.

on the topic of pushable blocks.

I really liked how this turned out(if it isn't clear then I'll explain, I started the level with a pushable block next to a shop and crushed the shop keeper into the wall with said block)

Should I do it?  Giggle

Edit: A rather anticlimactic turn of events  Concerned

The game crashed and gave me an error message, image contains spoilers so yeah

Error message was
"___________________________________________
ERROR in
action number 2
of End Step Event
for object oBomb:

Error in code at line 3:
       x = enemyID.x-stickyXDiff;

at position 18: Unknown variable x"

if you're wondering what/why I'm doing that in the the image it's because I missed a certain item trying to get to the certain place that is made of a certain something and kinda raged over it  Droop

It's in the mail and will arrive in 2-3 business days

No spoilers or anything

Spoilers: the boss has a head
I didn't mean the part about the head

The boss can kill you with the side of it's head.

No spoilers or anything

Cool

pardon the rant..

but man.. the 99.8 version..

every single 1-2 hour session the game would freeze

never had any problem with 99.5

that aside is there any way to be "unwanted"

I robbed a shopkeeper

and escaped the next two level without killing the waiting,
dying to kill me shopkeep's

the next level the shop did not have anymore wanted sign

only happens once

so is this a bug or feature?

much appreciated

If I remember correctly it is a feature, kinda like in GTA you have wanted stars so if you avoid doing anything bad for awhile it goes away. Also on the matter of bugs or not, I noticed if I shoot a shop keeper none will appear at the exit but I'll still see wanted posters and shop keepers will be hostile in their shops. if it is a bug I'd like to keep it  Durr...?

Some quick fanart from a big fan.

Wow that's some nice stuff, I like the man-eating plant the most

I managed to get a screen shot just in time so show off my mad luck

encase it isn't clear, I stole a jet pack then flew away and the enraged shop keeper fell down there. I worked up the courage to get close enough to throw a bomb and it stuck to his head.

EDIT: I proceeded to beat the game with said jet pack and only ran into an altar once to get the Spectacles and only 2 other shops, finished with 2 life. Now if that isn't lucky I don't know what is.

On a side note I'd like to point out how useless rope is after you have the Jet pack and how you shouldn't get any more once you do. So you can get better/more useful items like bombs or possibly flares would be a nice item to buy in case you're scared of running out of them. I also remember someone suggested item upgrades for the rope and bombs, might I say I second this idea with the possibility of getting a pipe bomb I can activate whenever I like or extra long rope/retrievable rope so you can take it back when you're done using it. I'd also like to see alternates to getting health like food/drinks(am I the only one who thought of a bar? Beer! ) or medkits? oh and I'd like to see a lantern that would increase visibility in dark levels but runs on lamp oil. Feed back or improvements on my ideas would be greatly appreciated  Gentleman

These are terrible ideas.

I'm sure everyone will find this to be extremely productive and as positive as I found it to be *cough*

If you could make your own enemies would that also mean you could make custom sprites for the spelunker, weapons, items, ETC?

what exactly are the requirements to open those secret doors? I've got a couple bronze cups but they seem to do nothing.

Sun Room = $200k
Moon Room = Beat the game in less than 10 minutes
Stars Room = 120 kills
Changing Room = Rescue 8 damsels

I find it somewhat odd that the Mummy doesn't use the Scepter or is even shown holding it. All I see is some kind of head piece and if you could turn that into either treasure or be an equippable item would be much more interesting in my opinion. I could think of several ideas of what it would do if it was an equippable item.

1. Would make a shield around you protecting you from weak damage and lava.
2. Ward enemies away.
3. Disarm traps.
4. The same thing the Scepter does only your hands are free to carry other stuff

Of course if it did stuff like that then the mummy would have to be more dangerous/harder to kill. That or just have him carry the Scepter around so it makes more sense. But that's just me nitpicking
