Thanks for all the (lengthy) replies!
Oooh, I love this!
Totally awesome but I got a bug;

ERROR in

for object MagicBall:

That's the screen when the bug came up. (sorry for the shoddy quality). It went away after clicking "ignore" a few (bunch of) times. Ah, I think it's because I died while my spell was out. edit: and also this makes me realize that I can steer the spell.
Also, I suggest maybe giving each class a unique(ish) weapon, 'cause I found it weird that the mage was weilding the same big sword as the warrior as the necromancer as the...you get it.
Deadly Desert is tough as nuts.
The plains and caves on the other hand are preposterously easy (and lack the variety of enemies as the desert and forest and are resultingly less fun [for me]).
Also I accidentally kept clicking outside the window and dying 'cause it doesn't pause when inactive, so I had to fullscreen it to keep from clickan out there any more but it became, unfortunately, quite ugly. Maybe an option for a clean 2x?
Maybe have the different classes have different attack powers, since it seemed like everyone, at level 1, had an attack power of 2 when I had expected the warrior to be more powerful than the priest.
The worm is unfairly unpredictable, I think. Toughest boss so far that I've met (And I think I've seen them all?) Love the physics on him but there seems to be no defense against its flailing...maybe if slashes to the torso didn't injure it but moved them away nonetheless?
I don't know how you'd fit this in but I'd love to see a special/spell that was like a lightning bolt that zapped enemies, hopping from one to the next until the distance between them was too great. Like a chain effect.
I also don't know how you'd fit this in either but maybe multiple abilities per class after a certain level is reached? Like rangers can summon animal friends, wizards learn a new spell, warriors learn a new sword technique, etc.
Castle area?
Also, I <3 the necromancer. Maybe you could make it so you're later able to employ/acquire fellow adventurers of different classes to accompany you?
Bug fixed! Thanks for that.
I'm not sure about unique weapons yet, I've been thinking about it, but for now I like the idea how classes don't really matter, only for your imagination. You'll notice that you play different as a warrior then as a priest, just because of the name.
x2 will be in it, it scales properly on vista, a problem GM has. Really weird.
In the desert you'll be a higher level.
Worm has less health now.
there might be a shaman with lightning attackNo multiple attacks, but there'll be perks. You'll notice.
Castle sounds good!
Awesome game!
I like what you are planning on doing with it, and here are a few more ideas to help you out.
1) Add sound (ha)
2) Right now MP recharges so slowly which is unfortunate, because the specials are fun to use. Perhaps HP should recharge at the rate that MP does now, and MP should recharge faster.
3) It would be cool if the priest's special also damaged nearby undead.
4) Pick-upable weapons such as a bow for a ranged attack, or a staff that would increase MP regen, or a battle axe that swung slower, but had greater damage.
5) perhaps a mini-map, because it is so easy to get lost right now (of course this mini-map would have to be really really mini to fit on the screen, so perhaps it is not a good idea.
6) Special locations such as a healing fountain, or an area filled with dangerous traps.
Are the levels randomly generated, because it seems as if they are (but in a good way). Really awesome game so far, I can't believe that you made it in four hours!

Sounds for sure!
HP won't recharge, there'll be a perk for faster MP recharge.
Priest thing now scares enemies away.
Minimap = ctrl
I was thinking of healing fountains, traps sound good too!
levels are random.
this game is great.

i think all it needs is some more polish and such, then it will be utterly fantastic.
Thanks.
This project looks awesome and could turn into something really great.
1) Super noob (secret class?)
2) Arrows shouldn't consume MP. Arrows can be bought. Use MP for abilities or spam shots.
3) Sword should be for paladins/warrior only. Maybe add some other blades too.
4) Rouge gets knife.
5) Wizard/Necromancers get wand/staff (two weapon types)
6) Ranger gets bow. Maybe can hit with if out of arrows or enemy too close?
7) Ranger could also use some lag between shots.

Fighter class. Tough, health heavy, fast dexterity, but close combat only, no weapons
and relatively weak hits.
9) Scroll button for different attacks/spells/abilities? Maybe assign each to a number?
10) Jumping? Just to add a little platforming in between action
11) Stats. Adds replayability, and gives people different ways to come up with ways of
playing the class.
eg for Wizard:
Battlemage quick simple spells, close combat, quick movement
Tank Wizard high defense so that spells with huge lag can be used effectively
Wizard (didn't know what to name) Magic, magic and more magic, powerful
spells that hit hard, has high magic resistance, though very low on every other stat
EDIT: I love how number seven turned out. :D
1: Haha there might be some unlockable classes indeed.

2,3,4,5,6: No.
7: it uses MP so right now it is a good and strong bosskiller. People like it.
8:
There'll be a barbarian. But you want to turn this into a proper RPG, I'm trying to avoid that.
9: no
10: no
11: NO
sorry for the no's.

But I gotta keep it simple.
simple and fantastic. in dire need of more depth of course, but you're already planning that.
ty
I killed everything in the first level and nothing happened. I just got stuck there.
Edit: Oh I see
Edit2: I agree that mana should regenerate faster, atleast for mage. Also this game reminds me of Ginormo Sword, which is good considering Ginormo Sword is pretty much the best flash game ever made.

Shit you found one of my inspirations. :D
Thanks all! And here are some screens for your enjoyment:
