i agree that the wii has become a highly underrated console. all the big game sites put it down as a gimmickfest when it hasn't been that for years. it has easily as solid a lineup as any other current gen console, you just have to know where to look. also it hasn't given in to the big fps craze so i'm always down with that.

imo the QTE's in 2 are exactly how QTE's should be done, i.e. they should be strewn throughout and used in gameplay rather than cutscenes as a way to do cool cinematic moves in specific situations

no, the biggest problem with KH2's combat was that the whole thing was way too cinematic, combos were way too huge and you could easily button mash your way through with the occasional cure spell and never have to use anything else

most of the metroids and the castlevanias (since sotn) don't really have transitions. sometimes there's the occasional cutscene that breaks things up but 90% of it is all one big maze
