dex- the colours are pretty nasty on that. here's a quick edit i made

and that was just with some bar sliding. this would look really cool with some alkaline-ish colouring

hey dude, i use trilby. but i agree. it would be really cool if he did a strong or weak attack at the end of the teleport depending on how long you held it. this would be great for dodge-then-attack maneuvers.

for this kind of walk it looks strange unless you do

for the scarecrow i would recommend giving the straw a coloured outline like the rest of it and prolly giving him a hat

no offense but i really see nothing to work with from that run cycle. I'll try tossing something together later maybe

the new one looks great but one of the bigger problems is that it looks like he's actually squishing to stay in the box. try loosening him up.

oh. you're one of those. one of those guys who says its perfectly reasonable to have that painting of a stick figure for $100.00 at the art coop because the artist is expressing himself.
you know what?
nobody bought it
this is sort of off topic an idea I had for cabadath a while ago was if his theme played whenever he appeared.

nessiah- the green woman's hair looks poorly shaded in comparison to the others'

im not huge on GG. I personally am a KOF fan mostly due to it being extremely simple so I'm figuring out how to actually land strategic hits instead of how to do 6 variations of parrying. Street fighter's up there too but I'm not a big combo fan.
655  Player / General / Re: Are There Any Other Comic Book Fans Here? on: August 18, 2009, 07:32:14 PM
I love comic books but I can rarely get them because the only comic book shop we have here is the grocery store which just gets the marvel adventures 3in1 every month

that sounds like fights would just amount to waiting for the other person to attack so you could interrupt them. also I once played a flash game that had that timer system.

imo the best way to handle choices is having them integrated into gameplay rather than making you actually choose. Subtle things like whether you kill your enemies, what moves you use most, and what paths you take. Each of these would have equal gain and loss so it feels like no matter what you do you aren't missing out.
658  Developer / Art / Re: Face recognition on: August 13, 2009, 07:48:45 AM
I realize drawing a hitler stache on any face makes it look like hitler but being able to draw a recognizable hitler who has no hair or stache is more what im going for. I guess ill just work at it.

Im fairly certain thats not his hand as on closer inspection you'll see its a different colour and you can see his hand underneath.
660  Developer / Art / Re: Face recognition on: August 12, 2009, 09:18:51 PM
Im not sure if you guys are fully getting my question. basically what im saying is what are the main parts of the face that really define the face and make it unique? Obviously i cant draw in every line on the face im studying so what are the important parts?
