Tip: avoid active volcanos. If you happen to see something like this, consider a different route:

This is lovely, the mountains look really chunky somehow.

Yeah gorgeous, amazing sense of depth and scale for such a small piece!

Had fun animating today Smiley

Noob question: why the pink background for sprite sheets? I bought a set and I can't figure out how to slice it up and make the background transparent. I think I'm missing something.

I think the main idea is that magenta is a colour you're unlikely to use in the sprite so it can be automatically made transparent. It can make colours difficult to judge though if you actually work on the magenta background though. If you need to make the colour transparent you could try using GIMP maybe, it's free and handles transparency quite well in my opinion.

Sprite on the left was rushed so I'm having a go at adding some character to her. Played some Super Princess Peach as inspiration Kiss

Working on something for the first time in ages! Adding some stuff to my Ludum Dare game, seeing if I can flesh it out a bit more.

The seamless transition between dungeon layers in 3D looks amazing. Just hoping for some decent difficult dungeon design!

I'm loving Luigi's Mansion lots. It really takes pleasure in the little details like hoovering up coins, which makes the whole thing quite addictive for me. Plus some great atmosphere and lighting effects at times. I'm on the fourth mansion and haven't found it too repetetive so far as each level always opens up new rooms, and each mansion feels significantly different.

day and night test

Really like this! Quite a unique character and I love the Wind Waker style glow-in-the-dark eye.

Some crest designs from a game I'm working on that's currently fairly dormant.

These feel like they'd be right at home in an Amiga game. Think they remind me of The Settlers a bit. Very nice!

I actually sighed and kinda melted in my chair when I saw this. Lovely, I wanna run around in it!

3 mockups for February #OneGameAMonth participation: classic platformer + black-metal.  Hand Metal Left Hand Metal Right
My main inspirations is obviously Kid Dracula!

Silly plot: "A mysterious thief has stolen your magic black-metal equipment (corpsepaint/growl/headbanging/etc.), so you have to fight vikings, priests demons & wolves to find your stolen powers..."

Looks lovely, tickles my Game Boy nerves nicely.
