Makes me feel sorry for fate of those black things (though, I suppose, they're going to be quite deadly later on?). Can't help thinking whether these could be some variant of salamander or not (despite the lack of tail and bipedal walking).
Is the death animation supposed to look somewhat "cropped" (as in, there's a defined border that noone of frames exceed and some of frames do "hug"), by the way?
they're indeed going to be deadly later on, at least more deadly than they're now

yeah, the death animation is cropped to their sprite borders, but they're only placeholders

they like to think they are some kind of a salamander  Durr...?

What's that deal where he's drawing out pixels? Is he gaining some strength from the enemy?
[W] Force Grip - (channeling) grabs the nearest enemy in the direction Darth's facing, hovers him in the air rendering him unable to move / cast spells. If the enemy's a player he can fight it by mashing X button.
In the meantime the Force Grips steals life from the immobilized enemy.

So how can I make something useful.  
Which of the following do you think, would be the most useful to the community?

1. interviews and demo reviews of games being built
2. Editorial Reviewing newly published games
3. User Generated Content: allow devs to promote their projects, videos, kickstarters, etc
4. Making a download site to help provide more trial distribution
5. Making an online store like GOG, greenmangaming to help bring more sales

1. I doubt ppl will read game reviews from a new website (reviews tend to have lower views than news)
2. no need for new stores or trial distribution services
3. user generated content - IndieDB


you could highlight new games along with some short interviews with their devs, and post news about mainstream indie games for more views

you could review all early access games, that'd be cool

I've checked a lot of Unity Shuriken particle system tutorials, but most of them cover basic stuff that I already know.

Here's the effect I'd like to achieve (consider that every time the distance and positions may vary so I can't use sprite animation for this), any ideas?
