I'm not rewriting anything in the iji medley, unfortunately. I don't know how I could possibly do better when trying to remain faithful to the Iji OST sound without having it as shit sounding as the original.
The final part is a homage to Toms track for all boss battles up to Tor, I honestly don't know what you don't like about it because you never mentioned.
If you're going to give me some critique please be constructive with it and let me know what you don't like about it, not just that you do not like it. Thanks!
Also Brian, thanks for your support. I am not saying I dislike the medley, just the mix needs a lot of work. I don't think the medley is cool for now either, I think it's fine as it is and will remain structurally intact in the current way it is. The mix will be much better though. I won't be removing the final section either. I might adjust the transition into it though, but we'll see, chances are high that I won't!

Lol, I hear ya, it's a tough one to follow through tbh. However I doubt I can take it off my "want" list. So maybe one day. I just actually got some awesome news! Dan & I got our results, I (Chris) got a 2.1. and Dan "the brain" got a 1st! Amazing stuff, now we got a B.Mus Honours Degree on our side. Feels good. Feels good. All celebrated out though

I'm just gonna go ahead and say this. I do not like the Iji medleys. The medleys themselves are great. My gripe is with the drum line; it's too prominent. I'd say it needs to be toned down a bit, let the melody take center stage the way it's supposed to.
I will be remixing it for the final release, which is nowhere near. You're right though, the mix is shit. I personally hate it. It'll be a lot nicer when I get the time, at the moment I am busy off my face with commission work so bill before thrills I'm afraid. Thanks for the honest opinion however, it goes a long way in my book.

Awesome, thanks, I totally forgot about a whole bunch of updates I meant to do, including this one, sorry, it's been a bad week for my family, so my minds been afar. Meant no disrespect from it!
Anyway, I put you up on our website, you might want to check your game development links. Put a http:// within the a href="HERE" section of the link before the www. or it will link your website before linking the actual website you're referring the user to. (Y)

Minor Blues scale for the win. Especially over Gminor, my favourite place.. well that's a lie, was my first place i learnt it when i was a idd biddy thing. Or something.
The term, jazz scale.. is.. well it doesn't exist, those aren't scales but small melodic figures. Understandably it is used in jazz, but a 1-4-5 progression is a blues progression. 2-5-1, or 2-5-6-1, are most common in typical jazz standard chord progressions.
Grab yourself a Real Book if you don't have one, it's good for Jazz Standards and can help you get used to jazz chord progressions as well.
I don't really have anything I can recommend at the moment, I ain't played my piano in a few months since i've been studying for my drum exams (done now woot!) but i disagree with your POV on jazz. I'm an avid jazz listener and jazz is the figure head at the top of a big tree of jazz genres. There is something in jazz for everybody with a bit of taste and interest in music. Since most of the good music you listen to today has stemmed from Jazz theory.

Hey Mecha, cool to see you here.
Loving the game as always, keep up the good work.
Heheh weirded me out for a second there EDIT: Should add a little more than that, I really like the look of this! It looks so smooth and seems to act just like the original Portal. Me want to give my arms to project! *rips off arms*

Love the image and sound of the game, I bought a seed while another seed was harvesting, when the other had finished harvesting I couldn't take it out of the ground. This was because I couldn't figure out how to get rid of the first seed, and couldn't plant it either.
EDIT: I am a fool and didn't see the trash can. Though it still seems like some kinda ability to replenish a seed you want to just set down for a moment, would be nice.
If I find any dinks I'll let you know, but i love this, who did the music? It's brilliant, mind the shop feels really.. spooky. And the music adds to the spookyness hehe.
