It has to be! OR ELSE!.. or else it's a bad thing.

Haha, nicely done, wish it was a pun Sad flawless.

Yeah, the dynamic shift can make some sections horrifying. Thank god for short break downs. Stick to 100% up beat tunes for max firepower!

Agreed on all three counts of flashyness. I embarked on a dark room game. I bought it at midnight so was not hard to achieve, but my god.. yes, please be aware that if you have epilepsy or have a history of seizures, avoid this game at all costs.

Otherwise, It's highly enjoyable and I recommend it, combining your own favourite music with the experience on screen, fighting to beat the end of the climax in the tune by fighting a larger enemy threat, it's well fun Smiley and of course online scoreboards ftw! (Of which, you will never see me on..)

The random button owns, everything else produces bad cheese only..
Only if you don't know how the parameters work...

Anyway, I use SFXR extensively for samples in my music, so I guess just listen to my music to hear my best SFXR sounds. :D

Haha, nice plug dude. Though yes, I have listened to some of the Hero Core OST you did for Dan Remars game and I enjoyed what I have heard so far!

I enjoyed this for a while but I already have a method to making sound effects so I don't think I will embark on another, looks promising though!

In terms of sound. I've done extensive work on A.R.E.S for the entire set of sound effects, and in 4 weeks time I am done Uni. atm, I am stuck to Uni work. I can't shift it. So after that, I may be able to help on the sound effect side, my friend Kevin Carville (CarvSounds on the board) helped me do a lot of sound effects before, so we may be on board for some of the character sets.

Or I might go ArdentSideburn on the audio side of things Cool

I found this really twitchy to play on a keyboard.

I plug in a 360 controller and all of a sudden I can breeze through the game. Amazing!

Really loving the look of this, downloading it now! Also, you might want to update the OP with this link. It brought me to Rapidshare last time I clicked it. And the 10 download limit on rapidshare has been met.

I also know who is working on the music for this, I am quite excited about that too :D!

Agreed, it's nitpicking when it looks ready to go, which I don't think it did. Nice work Ardent! Enjoyed all of your stuff so far Smiley

Haha,

I like the humour of the last picture. And I think this game looks really nice! The enemies are weird in a good way too, fighting bulging skin things.. yay!

Anyway, impressive so far. Will be watching! Do you have a development blog or will this be your development source?
