I couldn't help but notice this in the description for the long screenshot: "and Adam Saltsman."
What's Adam doing on the project?

The movement is incredibly fluid, man! The platforming looks pixel-perfect, and the agility of Trixie is amazing!

I'm just wondering why the hell they chose HTML5 over flash. I mean, there are some benefits, but Kogregate is the only prominent online gaming site I know that supports it.

I've had this idea in the back of my head for a while now, and I'm starting to learn someConstruct to try and make this a reality.
Basically, it's an exploration-based survival-platformer semi-co-op game. The gameplay can be described as something of a hybrid of Knytt and Minecraft. The survival aspects and day/night cycle from Minecraft, and the ambient atmosphere and platforming physics from Knytt.
The primary goal in the game is to explore the various ancient temples and environments across the world and collect artifacts and idols from each. Now, exploration is made a little harder given the fact that your character isn't superhuman. You'll need to create a fire, pitch a tent, and hunt for food in order to keep your stamina up, and your character needs sleep to deplete his/her fatigue.
Since combat isn't that big of a focus in this game, temples and "dungeons" will be more focused on puzzle-solving (some physics-based, some logic based) and skillfull platforming. Each of the idols you receive from said temples give you skills that will let you access new areas of the world (i.e. A charm of breathing recovered from a seaside temple would give you unlimited underwater breathing, allowing you to reach the ruins of an underwater civilization).
I'll flesh out some more details later, but that's the basic gist.

and yeah i suppose england could prosecute people for that, since england doesn't have free speech the way the US does.
But at what point do we draw the line for free speech? If someone makes a comment or speech rallying people to burn down a building or rob a bank or grocery store and law enforcement isn't allowed to do anything to stop it, doesn't that just put them at fault? I mean, if somebody is legitimately posting with intent to organize a criminal act, shouldn't it be considered out of the bounds of traditional free speech? I'm all about freedom of the press and freedom to express one's views on an issue, but when that free speech puts others at risk, it's gone over the line.

Still, there has to be some sort of legal ramification to making a post that violent and pure fucking nuts.
the 17th century called, they want their censorship back I know there was this guy who got nailed by Hampshire Police for making a tweet encouraging the rioters. http://twitter.com/HantsPolice/status/101043017196118016If she's encouraging the riots, then she should be just as persecuted.
