Oh, I'm definitely trusting that you guys are spending a lot of the time before release just chocking it full of content. Will there be any way of teleporting for ease of travel, though? It seems like it'd be annoying to backtrack through some of larger areas to reach new ones.

I have to add, the music at the beginning of adventure mode is simply lovely. You must upload the game's soundtrack when you're finished.
Ahh, just realized that the music was Gymnopedie. Fits beautifully nonetheless!

not to be confused with POLYTRON's dairy intake platforms, PLATFROMAGE.
This is my new favorite post.

I am just not very sure what to call this game at all! it's an arena-shmup=fighting-game hybrid thing where you play as a luchador I was thinking of something like ______ Pro Wrestling or Mask de ______ or something. I don't want it to sound too much like a wrestling or fighting game because it's not. Based on the screenshot, my name suggestion would be "Luchadors and Hand Grenades," but I like the _____ Pro Wrestling. Really accents the ridiculous nature of the game.

Developer / Art / Re: Mockups, or the "Please say this is going to be a game" thread

A bit of a mockup/concept for a town called Highmill that's built in and around five immense windmills: That little pink dot at the bottom of the main one is a character. This looks beautiful Can't wait to actually see this part in the game. It truly does look like it'd be a blast to explore.

Player / General / Re: 8.9 Earthquake in Japan

It's amazing what good engineering and earthquake preparedness can do. This earthquake is ~100x larger than the 2010 Haiti earthquake and the death toll is probably going to be ~1/1000 of Haiti. Still, the floods look insane.
Imagine if it hit a third-world country. Japan's lucky that it had to sort of tight building codes for an earthquake like this. The tsunamis were completely devastating, though, and I'm going to try and do anything I can to help out with the recovery effort.

Ty The Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue.
I can't even remember how or why it ended up in my possession. I certainly didn't buy it. But I completed it. Nothing earth-shattering, but a thoroughly pleasant romp.
On this subject, I thought Ty was lovely. The pace was very relaxed, and the vivid environments and unique art style were really something welcome. Though that final part of that final boss... That was pretty unnecessary.

Player / Games / Re: Serious Sam gets the indie treatment

“I’ve never heard of any of these indie clowns,” said Fork Parker, chief financial officer at Devolver Digital, publisher of Serious Sam 3: BFE. “Do any of these jokers make hentai games? I’m telling you guys, that weird tentacle stuff is the future of gaming.” This quote made me crack up. Damn, the Devolver Digital guys seem incredibly awesome.
