When I close the french doors to my office and my doberman runs up and (like a horse) lifts his front legs up and smashes them open (they swing inwards into the office).  Then he just walks away like a dick.  I just want to close the gfkdmfsgjsngjnffucking doors. WTF

Oh my eyes - gorgeous! The menus look cluttered to me; they remind me of Dungeon Keeper.
343  Feedback / Finished / Re: Fez on: August 30, 2011, 11:31:16 AM
Just watched it too.  Good interview.

I can't believe I didn't realize the design of Fez was to be calm and non-threatening.  It makes sense to me now, evidently, but for the longest while I was assuming Fez to be fairly fast-paced, massive, and dangerous.  I guess that's why I was turned off to it way back when some old trailer was released and it didn't fit my perception of Fez

Still, it looks fantastic; I'm really pretty excited about it again. Beer!

The last boy has a flashlight.

They're all good except for the last boy (IMO).  He looks...meh.
But the first five are especially awesome!

For some reason I was corralled into watching The Hangover Part II; more time I cannot get back.

Also, I Saw the Devil is so good.  The posters are awesome too. My Word!

It also copped an error for me. Sad

Let's rip it off and release something before does. All for profit.

It is really hard to hide from The Shof.

354  Player / Games / Re: What are you playing? on: August 29, 2011, 09:20:05 PM

Playing Thief: The Dark Project with the widescreen DDFix (200 degree field of view because I can).  Ghosting, no saves.

Wow.  This is something I really want to explore.  Really, really great stuff so far!

It's a very nice bitchslap. Wizard

Assuming that it is intended as a punch, I'd suggest removing one or two frames in order to pack more punch to the swing. It's smooth and sweet now, bu for the intended purpose it might be too smooth, if you catch my drift.

359  Player / Games / Re: REVENGE of the PLATFORMERS!? on: August 28, 2011, 02:25:46 AM
Psychonauts was more a "story game" as far as I'm concerned, the actual platforming part of it wasn't all that special.

Totally agree.

The Banjo games and DK64 etc are all good games too. What I meant was no one really managed to improve upon the template set by Mario 64. The genre didn't evolve and branch out enough.

I never played DK64, and Tooie was such a mind-numbing "collect all the things" quest that I only played because of the original's general awesomeness.  Both Banjo's felt like a step back from Mario 64.  I did feel, however, that Mario 64 DS surpassed the original, but not by much.  Nor was it innovate either.

Hype the Time Quest was a really good addition to 3D platformers.  Jazz Jackrabbit 3D (the leaked alpha) was pretty awful.  The God of War games were ultra-linear.   The Crash Bandicoot series (the first three) were designed pretty damn wellandI'mstartingtoramble.

[edit] I agree with you, Dragonmaw, about the (3D) Zelda titles.

How I feel reading this thread:

So sad.  Melancholy.  Self-deprecating.
Get off the internet.

Or go here. Your first link cops an error.  Songs are okay; I listen similar work.
