A new challenge appears!
Can you beat the game with this ship? You may replace and upgrade the lasers and boosters, but you must retain this layout. No new girders, no fidding with how modules are arranged. I still haven't quite managed it. | | + + --- /---\ --- | =| @ |= | --- |---| --- ^ ^ GOWe have to have the exact same layout? So if we get some of those sweet white bricks from a ship we can't use them because they're too long?

This is awesome! Also anyone have that code for the autopilot? Sadly the export thingy only registers things that are attached to the ship (at least I haven't been able to save it)

Holy shit dude that is awesome. You can actually convince more garbage-collection-warning drones to come visit at the start...
Oh, and have you seen Steve's prison ship? He enclosed two lone command modules in his vessel, which not only looked cool but also totally haxed my population management code!
do a check if a command modules has weapons, if not consider it inoffensive and spawn another enemy ship But wouldn't that create a huge load if many ships are disarmed but never used/killed? Maybe giving them a time, how much time they can live without anything attached to them? Or just starting to chip off their health slowly if they have nothing attached.

Yes, and it's awesome. What did you do to prevent this? (if you have done anything) Why would you want to prevent it? It filled my heart with glee! Well it's awesome and all but if the world stops spawning ships...there'll be nobody to capture. Question: Didn't that thing steer a lot left?

I tried this out: It's kinda funny and it's very nice to have a personal info drone (also makes the ship nice and wobbly.) sad that I can't save it...

* The game keeps wanting to access my camera and microphone. Why?
Farbs said: " There is a reason, but it’s debatable whether or not you’d consider it a _good_ reason If you allow webcam access (and have a webcam, and have it selected as the flash camera device in the flash settings panel, and it’s pointing at your face) then you’ll see your own face reflected in the screen glare, rather than the default pilot face. It’s quite affecting to see your own grinning visage reflect the bright glare of an innocent trader’s demise."

Wasn't joking. I think comparing this to early versions of Spore isn't a bad thing at all, it's probably even kinda true (it's more the swimming levels of Spore, but still...) This game is going to be interesting to follow and play, hopefully it'll not turn into Spore (abandon/most pirated game in the universe). I just tried it on my laptop, I must say, even at medium quality it runs smoothly and this is a 4 years old laptop. | + | |---| | + | | + |---| | |---| | |---| | | + | | + | | | |---| |---| | | | | | | | | | | | --- --- /---\ --- --- | =| =| @ |= |= | --- --- |---| --- --- ^ v | | v ^ ------- | | ------- | =| |= | ------- |---| ------- ^ ^ | | ^ ^ ------- | | ------- | =| |= | ------- |---| ------- Pilot this vessel | | | | | + + + + + |---|---|---|---|---| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | ------- /---\ ------- | =| @ |= | ------- |---| ------- ^ v | | v ^ ------- | | ------- | =| |= | ------- |---| ------- ^ ^ | | ^ ^ ------- | | ------- | =| |= | ------- |---| ------- ^ ^ + ^ ^ | Pilot this vessel

I feel so weak, I bought it within 12 hours of seeing it for the first time. Really enjoying it, it's even fun dying sometimes, I'd post a screenshot of the giant white ship that got my all purple ship in the end but I am not sure I can... Am I allowed to share? I like the site, the setup is nice and the design is very space invaders esk, which is awesome. I am very glad I bought it, it is unique and it always feels nice to support an indie project. you guys should totally buy this right now. it's a sure thing. agreed. x3
