Yeah, that's definitely a valid point. As important as research is, it doesn't make sense to prioritize it lower than one person's treatment, but higher than everyone else's.
No, it's really not. For one thing, who are they going to choose? For another, people are going to donate to what they want regardless. Also it's Humble Bundle, they're going to keep doing the bundle thing .. it's kindof what they do.
Also this is the first time I've seen helping research a cure for cancer described as "a slap in the face", and people who keep donating are "idiots", it just reeks of bitterness.
"You're an idiot for not helping in exactly the way I want you to" is ridiculous. BTW it's still only 5.8k over the goal so it's not like people are flooding in to give more than necessary.
The names of donors are mostly public so maybe you should go tell them how much they suck to their face, I'm sure they'll appreciate the lecture.
