C and E for the shields for me.
Seconding B or F - B has the best eyes, but I really dig the African mask look of F. The problem with F though is that could just as easily be a regular dude with a 100 eyes mask.
Maybe a remix of both - the mask of F but with open eyes (that are animated?) and perhaps a little variety of size and shape - would work best?

"mobocracy" - thank you for that word, I will now use it when appropriate in discussions (which is sadly far more often than I want to)

Looks like fun! Following. I realised the game was way too fast, it was pretty much impossible to react to opponent's shot because they were way too fast. OTOH, there is the case of Street Fighter 2: Hyper Fighting. Perhaps an optional Turbo mode for the twitchy caffeine addicts?

The problem is that there is no such thing as one type of colourblindness. I think the toggle-able pattern suggestion is the easiest solution. That, or making it possible to select your own palette.

A shit I forgot something. Should I add colorblind mode? 10% of male population is, huh? YES YOU SHOULD! And congrats on finishing!

Well, I say it depends on writing, voice-acting and if it fits the genre. Games like Baldur's Gate and Homeworld had fantastic narration, for example. Never felt like it was a wall of text. But it also fit the genre there - neither games were exactly about twitch gameplay.
