Hey TIGSource. Long time lurker, first time poster.
Me and Eddie Cameron
made a two player FPS in Unity. Right now it only works over LAN and with standalone builds, but eventually we'll have direct IP connections with web player deployment.
The game concept: there's a giant island full of NPCs. Player 1 is a 17th century Danish priest who has to pretend to be an NPC to fuel their rocketship and escape. Player 2 is the local bailiff, trying to figure out which islander is Player 1 so he can shoot him.
(There's more to it than that
but that's pretty much it)REMINDER: You need 2 players. One player clicks "Bailiff" to host the game, then the other player on the LAN clicks "Debes" to join the game.
v0.9, pre-release beta: (only works over LAN)
- Windows build (11 mb) http://www.gamefront.com/files/20025702/LucasDebesWin_09_zip
- Mac build (16 mb) http://www.gamefront.com/files/20025729/LucasDebesMac_09.zip
There's a bunch of bugs / unpolished ugliness, and I feel like I haven't done a good job of explaining how it all works, but overall it's pretty playable and fun... I think. Gimme feedback!
