Developer / Design / Re: Why indie games are windowed while AAA titles are full screen?

Is not like indies and AAA games have their own rules or we are forced to put windowed in our games. It depends of what game's atmosphere we want to show. And you can choose what screen mode is the most appropriate to your game. you're an idiot
Please, don't make cry this little person. He is just...confused.

I wasted way too much time on this. The idea is a roguelike where you play an employee who must quest into the depths of an old warehouse to retrieve an Amulet of Yendor tm for a customer. As you go deeper, venturing into completely abandoned areas, strange new lifeforms pop up, and whole new ecosystems start emerging in the overgrown lower floors. I'd like to get some quirky charm in there- in the items, creatures, and environments. And you have full access to do it. Keep doing the good work

By the way, after the show, there's a brony versus Twilight fan brawl out in the parking lot.
I think they are exaggerating at this point, but between the two I'm in the bronies' side. (sorry Jacob)A brony unleashing his "friendship magic" and the twilight "sparking"... Brony wins because the other one was "outnumbered"

Community / Jams & Events / Re: Game Jam Success Stories

It's been my experience that Jams are far better at building relationships than leading to project teams. I've met a number of friends from such events, and I know some folks who reached out to jam contacts to drum up excitement for a kickstart, so it's a super useful experience.
But if you want a long term team don't feel disappointed if things don't pan through, and be wary of folks who attend with just that expectation.
I second that. In my case, i went there to meet people and make friendship (and to make a game too ) And was awesome But i meet someone to keeps taking notes about everyone and our abilities. In the end he didn't help his group. He said that he was the manager and game designer, like checking his group's development, but nothing more. He just keep going around seeing and chatting...In personal, i didn't like him. (Oh, and he was the first one to go to sleep...boring)
