Uh. Well, yes. Eternity's Child, for one, and that game apparently sucks.
I heard that there was a free version of the game with 5 levels released for mobile phones, which I *guess* counts as a demo, and also realize that the game was just released about a week ago so it's not safe to say that there will never be a demo (often full versions come out before demos, because they take time to prepare), but you're right. Still, I'd guess that 99.9% of games have demos. Your guess is waaaaay off. Very few games nowadays release demos. The only high profile demo I remember in recent memory was Crysis. Also, the majority of the games I download are much older games that I missed out on and aren't really available except on places like Amazon. Since I don't have a credit card, and my parents REALLY don't like buying things online, it's pretty much my only option.

Only just seen this thread, anyways I saw the movie first a couple weeks ago and though it was superb through and through. Think the cast all did a great job (personally I think that Bale was the best one, managing to get both Bruce and Batman absolutely perfect). Loved the story too. Easily one of my all time favorites already and the first comic book I thought that was any good since... well Batman Begins, and I certainly consider it the best movie of recent times. I don't usually agree with a lot of hype and reviews (particularly in gaming come to think of it) but I came out of the cinema feeling like I'd finally seen the comic book film I been waiting for since I was a kid and feeling very satisfied with it too. Very, very impressed with it.
Seen it three times so far, but not yet on IMAX. I have personal issues which make that difficult (mainly the journey)
Holy shit, I just realized who you are and why your avatar is so awesome. I stand in awe. Also, we need to get you pixelhead status.

OH SHIT OH SHIT I FORGOT LYLE IN CUBE SECTOR AND DROD. I realized that noctis wasn't on there at the top where it should be. I hate myself now.

FUCK YOU RIDDLE, FUCK YOU GUARDS, FUCK YOU QUESTIONS, FUCK YOU gently, xkcd. xkcd is my other favorite. But seriously, that brought back repressed memories of that riddle. Horrible, horrible memories. I still don't know the answer.

Ok, I just read Watchmen, and I have to say that it's brilliant and one of my all time favorites. I don't see how they're going to make a movie out of it. There's too much jumping around for one thing, and there's so much lost by getting rid of the little excerpts at the end of each chapter. Plus, the imagery won't be nearly as stunning or effective in film form.

Also... "sold his SNES before I was born." Christ, I feel old.
A life without NES, let alone SNES!? You kids... I feel the same way about most of you guys and the Atari 2600 -- now that was a console. I think I enjoyed that more than the NES. Oh, I was around then too. Hell, I actually had a Pong machine before my 2600, with a total of 4 settings (including Jai-lai), and the knobs were built into the box itself, so you had to sit on the floor three feet from the TV screen. And you had to trudge ten miles uphill in the snow just to get to it. But if Ol' Man Jenkins wasn't too laid up with the rheumatism he'd let you ride back in his hay wagon. Oh, and there were dinosaurs. Tell me more about this bygone era.
