Just got the Spelunky t-shirt from my BFF/roommate for Christmas. New favorite shirt, and now I match my Xbox avatar!!!!!!!!

Played Fez pretty much all day yesterday. I beat it almost twice. I figured out what I had to do for everything else, said "Fuck it." and turned off the 360. That game's cool. Glad I played it.

I really like Punch Quest and ZiGGURAT. Dunno if those count as hipster hexagon games, though.

If you want an fps-type game, check out Trigger Fist. It fixes the control issue by removing the y-axis and it works really well.

Corrypt, and it's fantastic. One of the best indies of the year.

3D Land and Crashmo are my two favorite games on the 3DS, so those are good choices.

Spelunky HD has already been confirmed for PC, and Derek isn't really the guy who does the porting. That's Andy or someone else they hire to do it.

This is the dumbest, and maybe the weakest argument against the game besides the stupid "vehicle handling" one. Why would a game almost entirely based on gameplay be more awesome with different characters? The story is almost non-existent.

The original games are not even that good. They're (technically-impressive) tedious collect-a-thons.

You can't play it without an internet connection.
