I. Magician - Derek II. High Priestess - cactus III. Empress - Melly IV. Emperor - The Monster King V. Hierophant - Gimym TILBERT VI. Lover - Ashkin VII. Chariot - Dragonmaw VIII. Justice - Inanimate IX. Hermit - TeeGee X. Wheel of Fortune - Andy Wolff XI. Strength - Xion XII. Hanged Man - Hangedman XIII. Death - eva XIV. Temperance - Paul Eres XV. Devil - allen XVI. Tower - fish XVII. Star - thatshelby XVIII. Moon - Droqen XIX. Sun - phubans XX. Judgement - Matthew Wegner XXI. World - CA Sinclair -. Fool - John Sandoval
Those are just the first ones that come to mind.
Edit: Improved it a little.
Edit 2: Here are my explanations so it doesn't seem like I'm trying to slight anyone:
I. Magician - Derek: 'Unreliable' because he doesn't come on TIGS that much, and is often slow with the front page updates, but when he does he is always a down to earth cool dude and engages with the community, and plus he is a wizard of game making. II. High Priestess - cactus: Self-explanatory I think. III. Empress - Melly: I actually came to TIGS after Melly already left, but since many regard him/her as an important TIGS member and mourn his/her departure, I figured Empress is a suitable role. IV. Emperor - The Monster King: King -> Emperor. V. Hierophant - Gimym TILBERT: He is always very smart and knowledgeable, but his posts are usually indecipherable walls of text, but that's why we love him. VI. Lover - Ashkin: Because he always posts these things: <3 VII. Chariot - Dragonmaw: He is passionate in his opinions but is also a good moderator. I also based this on the more general meaning of the Chariot card, which is a guy trying to hold two horses from going in diverging directions, which represents his role as a moderator. VIII. Justice - Inanimate: He's the Hero of Justice! IX. Hermit - TeeGee: His posts are always very sober and he has that realist, pragmatic attitude, but he is all the way in Poland so I guess that makes him a hermit! X. Wheel of Fortune - Andy Wolff: Just from seeing his immense amount of unfinished game projects, it seems like he has a lot of potential. XI. Strength - Xion: Because he is one of the best artists on TIGS, and is uncompromising in his feedback if he thinks you can do better. XII. Hanged Man - Hangedman: Self-explanatory. XIII. Death - eva: Self-explanatory. XIV. Temperance - Paul Eres: His opinions are always very wise and salient, but his logorrhea sometimes makes for a slow read. XV. Devil - allen: Brutally honest, sometimes to the point of coming across as mean, but always correct in his assertions. XVI. Tower - fish: Self-explanatory. XVII. Star - thatshelby: :D XVIII. Moon - Droqen: Inspiring because his game projects are always impressive and inspiring, but deceptive because he often starts his devlogs with secretive riddles! XIX. Sun - phubans: I think we all know about phubans. XX. Judgement - Matthew Wegner: He always comes in to fix technical problems with the TIGS servers, but he can be distant sometimes! XXI. World - CA Sinclair: I don't think Mr. Sinclair is truly uncaring, but I think he enjoys that persona (in a charming kind of way). He also has one of the highest post counts. -. Fool - John Sandoval: Who knows what the future holds for John Sandoval.

Yea, right now when stuff is destroyed, it's 1:1 pixel to particle. We thought it looked pretty cool, but I guess I'll have to think about it a bit more.
If you turn every sprite's pixel into a particle, it sells more as disintegrating or turning something into dust (which might be a cool effect in itself if tweaked more). I agree with this - i think the effect would look awesome for certain enemy types or sand/dust type objects.

Cool stuff - I saw you posting about that on twitter.
I agree with Ashkin though, it looks a lot like you are trying to wedge in cool technical effects rather than doing what would look best for the game. I think larger chunks and splinters would look better.

My favourite part was when he said he wanted to add the feeling of "sorrow" onto the current list of "loneliness" and "despair."
I was initially doubtful when they said his style was going to be more direct, but now I feel that at least his heart is in the right place.

The established community for concept artists and 3D guys is CGHub. There are also purely 3D ones like Polycount, and purely 2D ones like conceptart.org, and purely pixel art ones like Pixeljoint. DeviantArt also has several groups dedicated purely to game art. All of those have professionals and hiring sections and basically everything you described. I don't mean to discourage you from tackling a cool project (which is always worthwhile!), but I thought I would just let you know that there are similar things out there, so you don't find out later and realize that you've wasted time.

What minnow and Vovosunt said is definitely true.
Working in different mediums is like working in different programming languages. If you're good with C++, you can pick up a new language in a day or two - it just comes down to syntax. It's the same with art.

Seriously, what in God's name are you guys talking about about Moonlight Butterfly being hard? He has two attacks, both of which are extremely easy to dodge. Or, if you don't feel like dodging, you can just get a magic resist shield and block them. OR, you can just walk far away from him. And there is so much time in between the attacks that you can estus up even if you do get hit. THEN HE FLIES DOWN AND LITERALLY GIVES YOU FREE HITS. Rinse and repeat and he's dead. Are we even playing the same game? But why would Frampt try to get you to link the flame if the serpents wanted to usurp the Gods, or get so pissed at you if you disobeyed?
The giant bird probably worked for Velka, yes? Maybe she has some alliance with the serpents. EDIT: Maybe the giant bird IS Velka.
I agree. There is nothing to back it up except the crow motif, but I speculate that the bird is either Velka, or an important servant of Velka. Now that you mention it, I also speculate that Velka is in league with Frampt/the Primordial Serpents. I honestly don't think the serpents care whether or not you link the Flame or become the Dark Lord. If you link the Flame, it means you kill Gwyn and then kill yourself - and we know because of the outcome of the first time that the flames were linked, that it is not a permanent measure, and eventually everything will return to Dark anyway. And I think that because the serpents are from the Age of Ancients, they are probably immortal, so they could wait it out. If you become the Dark Lord, then that accelerates their plan, and they have a new puppet for their schemes. I also speculate that Velka has a vendetta against Gwyn and the other for some reason (perhaps for locking her followers in the Painted World?), and she understands that the serpents want the same thing, so she brings them Undead from the Northern Asylum to Lordran so they can use them. I was just browsing the official forums, and apparently some people think Velka is actually Gwyn's wife and the mother of Gwynevere/Gwyndolin/the firstborn of Gwyn. That would be very interesting if it were true. That would explain why the crow/Velka rests near Frampt, who was a friend of Gwyn's.

Regarding the Primordial Serpents
I think the Primordial Serpents are basically acting on behalf of the ancient dragons. If you read the description of the Covetous Gold Serpent Ring, it says "the serpent is an imperfect dragon."
It's also pretty clear to me that Kaathe and Frampt are allies despite what they say, and that there are a bunch more of them just waiting around behind the scenes (which we know from the Dark Lord ending).
This is just speculation but I'm also not convinced that Kaathe and Frampt are actually separate individuals. I think it's possible that they might just be roles that any of the serpents can fill at any given time. I haven't checked if they are actually separate voice actors, but if so, that would probably nix this idea. They are indeed the same voice actor.
I think the Primordial Serpents propagated the myth of the "Chosen Undead" in order to find someone who was strong enough to kill Gwyn and the other gods, so they could regain control.
