Are things still on for late June? I think my "team" can make it and our demo for our current project will be wrapping up and be ready for testing sometime around then! That would be super cool!

Why the switch to Unity? It just seems odd to switch from something that was built for 2D to something built for 3D.

Thanks for the quick response, man. I know a bit of each of those (CSS, HTML, and PHP) and the team knows a few others who are fairly proficient in at least one of them.

I'm currently looking into Wordpress. My only concern previously was whether or not such services allowed you to sell products, downloads, etc through their portals. Though I'm fairly sure that there is both a free and paid version of Wordpress so maybe that makes a difference.

I will report back when I read up on it a bit more.

From what I can tell, it doesn't look like there is a thread dedicated to talking about creating, maintaining, and running development websites.

Does anyone have any tips when it comes to these things? If I don't have the ability to program a website from scratch, what is the best way to create and maintain a website for a small company or dev team?

I guess examples would be like how Team Meat or Mossmouth have simple websites with pictures, bios, links to videos, etc.

Do they pay people to create them and then maintain them themselves?

I think he's talking about discussing how particular games approach unique tasks. For example, how does the collision/physics work during loops/corkscrews in Sonic games? Or how does Braid map position to time in area three? Etc, etc.

We really just need a proper 'like' button.
