Ah, I can do that. It was between shake when shorting or shake when bullets explode. Both was a bit much but I can continue to tinker with it. I guess the first would make more sense when we get to bigger guns anyway. I will know soon since I'm testing the shotgun on those bats, at the moment.

Here's a small update. I fixed all of the animations so that you can shoot properly while standing, running, jumping, and wall sliding. Added some of the tiles and backgrounds into the little demo build. Started adding enemies (you can see the hanging bats, but I don't activate them).

That is kind of what I figured. I feel like the project may have reached a point where the interest of the original fan base has dwindled and that the original art style was a large part of its popularity.

A lot of people are coming together to try to get this game out there. I appreciate the support that I have received and would like to show off what could potentially become the new Frog Sord. A few Frog variations Mockup by RasseThe current plan is to release a freeware version similar to the alpha build released late last year. I will use this to gauge interest in future development and then possibly look into Kickstarter or other funding methods. -Z

Today there was talk of Frog Sord revival. The original team is on good terms and collectively we have the right to finish the project. Hunter and I have moved onto a new project that is unrelated and due to this, FS would need to continue with a different artist.
The team is somewhat unconvinced that a complete art overhaul is worth the investment. Funding would also be necessary for the completion of the project. I guess I am just saying that the IP woes and what not are somewhat out of the way, but that doesn't necessarily change the fact that this game is currently on hiatus.

We like the look of that forest. Plus it'll be a bit more "prehistoric" by the time it's done. That's just day one of resizing some old tiles. No harm done in my book.

Why is this greaser in a forest?
Because of this: This is looking pretty good artistically, and the movement looks solid. I like that teleport thing going on too. Lots of possibilities there.
INFO LEAK: - The game takes place in a semi-open world that is broken up into several eras. - Teleporting and time travel are the core mechanics This is a rough look at one of the earlier areas in the prehistoric era.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. I will be prototyping some enemies this week and we'll have some tile set stuff coming together on Hunter's side of things.

Teleporting mechanic seems interesting, and I like the big hair. Good luck
Thanks for the kind words, man.
Tweaking physics and beefing up the feel of the pistol.
