you're using an advantage that 99% of other people don't know about or use (more with the zoom out thing than the range finder.) even if it's not strictly cheating, you're not really playing on a level playing field anymore. you're using some obscure method external to the rest of the game to give yourself an advantage over normal players. it's like coloring all of the items in L4D bright pink, making it play a siren when tanks are about to show up, and using the script that made you fire all of your pistol shots in one click. it's not strictly cheating, but you're still a bit of an asshole for using them.
quit getting so butthurt when someone calls you on your shit. if you really thought it was 100% fair, you wouldn't get so defensive, jackass.
it's sad that you're such a noskill retard that you have to zoom the map out 10% to be able to be competitive with other players. if you don't think that's a huge advantage, especially for mid, you're a fucking moron.

no, because gimp isn't a mario fangame. since when does a game have to be in the same genre to be a fangame? dum
not even worth arguing about

i think the issue is more of an intent thing, and when they named their game "game dev tycoon" (vs "game dev story"), their intent is pretty fucking clear as far as i'm concerned. that said, it's not like this is a new genre. there are tons of business "sim" games.

this isn't an idea to get more sales
it's an idea to get back at people you dislike
you will never get a sale by handicapping your own game and giving it to people.
in fact, it's going to probably hurt sales. if a friend tells you "this game is impossible, don't bother playing it" are you going to ask, "hey, man, did you pirate it? be honest, now!!!" no. you're just going to be less inclined to buy the game.
this is incredibly stupid, and i might even feel bad for them being so stupid, if they weren't also uncreative, self-righteous asshats.

if you're mad at players on your team running around with the mole, then that's a problem with who you're playing with. you're talking about what the "most effective" way to go through a level is (namely smashing it to pieces with the mole), and you're straight up wrong. if you look at the primary metric of skill used by the game, that's not necessarily the best way to approach levels. in other words, it's not the most effective way to play. in other words, it's a playstyle your team is choosing to use, not one the game is forcing you to use. in other words, it's like you playing deus ex hr while only using the rocket launcher and then whining about how it doesn't have any good stealth mechanics.

I do not like my art, and i do not understand those who do.
it's pretty funny that you're saying this after all the various temper tantrums you've thrown when people have critiqued your art

if you look at the top speedruns for each level, they don't all have the mole. you're just talking out your ass.

you nerds are making it out to be way harder to do than it actually is. peek in: if someone is looking your way, they're probably patrolling. leave and come back later: it is very rare that a dude is stationary and looking at the door. move through to other cover. there are like 3-4 characters that have a way to just walk through the room regardless. maybe you two are just bad at videogames? ? ? i've literally never had an issue looking into rooms without a lookout, so i'm afraid that you guys might just be dum.
also protip, you can press Y to see through other players' views, which is really fucking stupid imo

if you barely walk into a room, the guards won't be instantly alerted. my only complaint with that sorta stuff is it should show the blueprint regardless of whether or not you've been in the rooms.
