I think Delicious made some of the best shmup ships i've ever seen.
They are chunky and cartoony, which makes them so great.

Needs a giant alien mouth of doom, Delicious. However, it's pretty cool as it is now!

If I kept developing the game it would get less and less like Cave Story, haha.

Thanks KM for posting the OST on here and the feedback thread.

Looks like there's an accidental weird bit on the a in Jables.

Good looking out. I'll fix it.

I think Paul Robertson's animation is what he is known for more than his art style.

of course that doesn't help much.

Little naked girls with lots of gore.

Just finished it -- great work! Smiley

I love the humor and characters.  Some of the levels did feel a bit huge and aimless... especially the more 'overworld-y' first grassy open areas with enemies.  The later stuff felt better designed; by the last area it felt decenly paced.  (Although, one comment about the flow of that area -- you probably want to design it so I'm more likely to see the bear *before* the cactus, instead of after!)  Could have used more checkpoints in the area right after jetpack.

I did try to design it so you see the bear first. The right door is on the top, so I thought people would go straight across and not down.

Also In the next build I'll add a check point in the middle of the spike challenge.

Anybody find all the fruit yet?

glad you liked it :]

The squid actually wasn't part of the collision. I have a separate box for that.
