Dunno why the file isn't downloading for people.
While I figure it out I'm hosting with dropbox.

Alright guys, version 1.1 is up!

I fixed the horrible lumberjack bug, and a few other things.
You can use the same save as version 1.0 just take the .sav and put it with 1.1

I just finished my game Jables's Adventure!

About:
Jables’s Adventure is a small platform adventure game that I started in 2009. The game has about 30-60 minutes of gameplay, but the humor is top-notch.

The game stars a young boy named Jables. One day an odd squid appears on his head an claims he is the hero. He decides to go with it and start his adventure. An adventure filled with weird characters, useless advice, and magically healing fruit.

Wow, I bet that would play interestingly. Good luck to you on your blob game! :D

a mock, different hud this time. still need a programmer if anyone is interested. I want me and my programmer to write the story so I've been holding off on any story ideas.

basically it's a megaman shooty type adventure with a town as a hub instead of a lame stage select screen. but I think I want a day/night system that coindcides with your computers clock, so when you play at 1:30 pm, it's 1:30 pm in the game. Also, the clouds would go by very slowly. basically I would draw like 100+ clouds the game could use and depending on what time of day it is, they would be colored as such.

places in the town would close at a specific time, but places would be open. there would be 2 inns, one open from 1:00am to 12:00pm, the other open from 12:00pm to 1:00am. Same with shops, etc... A lot of people would wonder why, but I enjoy these kinds of details. I'm the kind of player that likes to explore ever inch of a game and try everything to see if the developers give you a little treat for doing it. This would be my treat to those kinds of players.

really hope you find a programmer. this looks very fun.

Sooo first I'd like to say sorry for missing the August deadline.

But the release isn't far off at all. Aside from a few tunes I still need from Kevin the game is done.

today I am going to send it out to a few beta testers, and I'll be fixing what they say within the next couple of days.

Once done, I'll update here and my site, so look out for that.

thanks to everyone who has followed the game so far.

I'd make the game but I might spend too much time grooving out to the music instead of coding lol.

Annihilator Beta wins for the phrase "In-squiddy-fact"

Also:
Favorite character was Squiddy.

I thought I was the only one who drew octopus and called them squiddy, hehe. Because of this the blue baracudas were my fav.
