No pills. Just remember that all your hard work will raise a lot the possibility to have the job you always wanted to.

I mean seriously, hasnt anybody had something that they have to spend a chronological ass-ton learning, only to forget once the tests are done.
True, there are some things that I just forget after a test, even though I do not forget completely everything that comes with it, fortunately. But this is the thing: in school you create a work habit. You could do it at home, but it's much harder. But why do you'd work on something that you don't care about, you ask? Because you're in the 8th grade. Don't take this as an insult, but imagine if the school asked to choose what subjects you cared at the 8th grade. Two things would happen: -I don't know what you learn in the 8th grade in your country, but like I said it before you'll have less knowledge of things that are more or less general culture. Sure, you might never need to know who was that guy that was a dick and burned the Coliseum of Rome, but I think it's good to know. -Adults regret sometimes their decisions, let alone 8th graders. So someone that said "fuck math" can't go back to it, at least without some consequences. For instance, I only found I liked chemistry at the 9th grade, so all these years were helpful to get a taste of what I would get in the future if I chose Science, which I did. So if you don't like some of the subjects from your grade, tough luck. Do them, and at High School you may choose in which field you want to work in the future. Step up, and fight for your future.

@HK The first image is killer! Did you make any game? I'd love to try them out after seeing your work. @Jakman4242 Looks nice, but the face should be less visible. Here's a pic for reference. @keoni29 While I like the watercolor effect I'd prefer if the painting didn't get out the borders, at least not as round. It's cute, though. ---- I did this today when the internet was out:

@dustin @OP I forgot to ask, but there isn't a minimum grade until you can choose to leave school? For instance the last year before university is obligatory in my country since some years ago. (it was until the 9th grade before it)
@Manuel Not here. But Ican go do the GED exam in the UK once Im 18.

@antybaner Why do you think that learning all you learn in school would be faster in home? Only if you skip stuff, but I wouldn't do that. I went to high school this year and choose Science, but I think that knowing who painted Mona Lisa is very important, same for the world's politics, between other not-related-to-science things. IMO most, if not all, you learn in college is general culture, which of course is very important.

Your new avatar is funny, haha. I think you should not give up. Talk with your teachers, go to explanations, and do whatever you can to finish school. As hard it can be sometimes, you have have more chances be rewarded with a future job or knowledge. There are some success people that quit school (Bill Gates, Steve Jobs), but you should try to get school done to be safe. There's also the social aspect of it, which is also very important. I'm not talking about making friends (that's important though), but working in group works, for example, is one of the many aspects you "might" do on your future job. (Can't talk about Homeschooling since I don't know much about it, but it's different from your case, since you want to leave studies completely) Just my 2cent.
