Whatevs. They know how people are, and Adobe got my respect for that. If only I could justify purchasing the real deal, I would.

Sure, I'd like to, but I don't know if I could. Though I have a drawing tablet, I don't think I can make anything decent with it. Also, I only have Photoshop CS2 because it's free. :p

Thank you for your supportive words. It's nice to meet the independent game creators community. We know we'll learn a lot here! Here are some answers : I don't really like the kid's head. Looks like an acorn in the third image. You mean you don't like the design of the character or is there only a problem on her pose in the 3rd image? Is the character's face on the title banner OK? The head it's fine, because I acept it's your stile, but when seen from the side (your avatar/banner) it's ok, but from the front, it looks a bit too squished. But that is just a minor detail. Maybe squeezing it from the sides would make it better (for me). Again, that is your style and I am artistically blind.

No, this is a section in where members of the community, after having their projects brewing for a while come here and present them to the bigger audience.
You, just spammed this forum with your game petty campaign, and I hope it fails because you are not worthy of attention around here.
You should have at least introduced yourself in the appropriate topic, created a feedback topic in the appropriate section, presenting the game to the masses and at least have the decency to make people believe you tried to be a part of a whole, instead of using this as an avenue to a quick buck.
I want to say: "Fuck you", but you aren't even worthy of it.

Hopefully Ouya and Steam Piston will be fun.
They won't. They are just another nail in the coffin. Makes me sad. I grew up on consoles. I grew up in a home.

Player / Games / Re: Favorite 2D game featuring pixel art?

With the work on my own game, and today's 3DS eShop release of the classic Zelda games, Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons, I'm reminded of how awesome games were, even before 3D gaming was commonplace.
Fez, Chrono Trigger, A Link to the Past, Lone Survivor. Through the years, these games have given me far more enjoyment than I ever got out of Fable 3, or Halo Reach. While detailed 3D games have their advantages, like immersion, realism, and visual depth, sprite art has its own unique charm in its low-res simplicity.
So tell me about your favorite pixel art games!
The game you are making is my favorite game ever.

One of these days I'll finally have peace in my damned life (having your friggin' house turned into a construction site is NOT good, people!), I promise to give your game a fair shot.
I just might have been a bit harsh. I see that.

And to understand a game I have to watch a video? Your talk is lovely, poetic, almost... But sometimes you seem to forget that... THIS IS A GAME Players like me play things for fun and pass the time. I felt I was wasting my time playing this because from a layman perspective, things happen randomly without me being able to control the flow of things. 1234 to place colored bombs. What's the difference between them, if any? I can drill an absurd number of columns, but all of a sudden the whole thing collapses without reason, killing me. Restart level. Over and over. At least Boulder Dash "explains" things without a word, and a player can understand that the minute it happens. There's no need to watch a video. It's me, man. I'm quite sure I'm alone in this lonely position of critique, but I have given my best to like the mechanics of your game. And also, I don't ever mastered a game. I do not care about it. I just want to play a game without it becoming an obsession, but at least you are upfront and tell people your game is no joke, and I respect that. I am just not your target. And I respect your position. It is as it is, and you didn't stray from your path. That's cool.
