Nice, that's what I thought and so after seeing your post earlier about using HaXe and NME, I was inspired to download them and FlashDevelop and try and start a new project with them. Just been having issues, getting used to the new framework layout and seeting things up, but your devlog posts are great at letting me see how you're approaching this game.

That new video is looking great. Like the new Flash spell, seems to work really well and visually it's interesting. Should come in handy while playing. The new particle effects on the fireball are also looking really nice. Like the guy you shoot who bounces back up

Liking the enemy slam down animation. Looking nice so far. Forgot to ask before but are you using Flash Builder for the HaXe, NME library? I'm still kind of new at all this so sorry if it's a stupid question

Just wanted to say that I've really liked following your game and think you have such a unique take on this whole game that even though there's another game out there which has some similar visuals, I'm still closely following everything you do with this. Have loved the visuals from the start and your whole vase and gods concept

Improved my screen curve, fixing the wavey lines it used to have and made a new level/set of puzzles.
That screen curve is looking authentic, makes me feel like I'm back in the early 90's playing my megadrive in my room.

The new waterfall looks delicious.
Agree with this and the new bloom is also looking alot less full on and more fitting.

Just had a play with it and it's looking and sounding beautiful. Love the sound and music and the way it plays so well with the scene Only issue I had was my computer not running it the best. Also well deserved mention in indiegames for an amazing project

Really like your technical posts (even if I don't understand most of them ) but just a great way to see how you work and learn new things. Like the enemies search beams and think it'll work even better when you get the convergence on the player when close. Also the distance fog is a great way to handle the popping in and out of buildings.

Really like those liquid visuals. Looks really interesting the way it all works and the way you've handled blending.

so after diggin for sprites to post for my Bird St. devlog, i came across a ton of work from an unfinished game 2 years ago. here's some mockups: ledge grab/climb http://megaswf.com/serve/59276/general gameplay mockup (look at those cave story clouds! lol) http://megaswf.com/serve/58403/a monkey enemy not used in mockup I want to play that game, it looks brilliant. Love the animation and character movement. Sad to know it'll never be done but really looking forward to Bird St.
