Sorry for my silence my fellow INANI followers but the mundane acts of daily life have taken me away from the community discussions. My distance though has left me in an interesting place, cause I now find myself coming to this with lots of information from what has been playing out.

My vote today will also go to Garthy. I do find it strange that with his so called gift he would make himself so vulnerable by contacting a so called civilian so early rather then waiting a day or two to find out more information. If as he says he does have the gift then SirNiko is a civilian anyway so I would rather just see what plays out if I go with the majority.

Sorry Garthy but I do find your words an issue and for now I'll stick with my vote.

Really like the shadow and lighting on the ladder.

You planning on updating the test build again?

Liking the look and animations so far but think the arms on the walk animation need to be loosened up and not as tightly held back.

Nice to see you started the devlog for this and good luck with it. Looking forward to following your progress and seeing what you make of it Smiley

Have thought about trying the Blender Game Engine so will be following this to see how you go and further motivate me to try something outside of flash.

Nice job, good to see it getting some attention. Girlfriend just got a windows phone so I'll have to make her get it so I can give it a go Smiley

Would be nice to see a video of you playing it cause always good to see a game played by the creator. Easier to understand and see how it should be played that way.

Checked out the video and game is looking good. Can't download it at the moment but will have to give it a go later.

You should check out zombox if you haven't already.

Liking the look of the vending machine.

what is that pixel to the left of the vending machine?
I'm thinking it might be a bullet the player is shooting at the vending machine Smiley

I got pissed off that my favorite moment in Simpsons history was not well represented on YouTube. So, I spent three hours tweaking a rip of the McBain: Let's Get Silly scene for the purposes of establishing it as the definitive representation of this Simpsons moment on the internet.
Great scene.

Just got back from a 17km hike for training for a 100km oxfam walk I'm doing in August. Legs and feet are going to be feeling it tomorrow.

Amiga Game  (UNSOLVED)

Been trying to figure out the name of an old Amiga game I once got in a magazine as a demo. Not sure if it was ever officially released.

The gameplay was like shadow of the beast and you began in a forest. I remember there being a pub you could enter and you also had strange powers. You could turn invisible and you could communicate with animals. Can't remember anything else about it and been struggling to find it for a few years now.

Solved it finally by seeing an image of it on a YouTube Amiga longplay playlist. Looks exactly as I remembered. Can't wait to give it a go. Game was BEASTLORD.

Bird flying level is looking good, like it. One suggestion to help bring the bird to life would be to make it blink every once in awhile. Really like the wings though, nice job.

Hell yeah, would be very impressed with a Journey Demake Smiley

Great boss art, looking forward to seeing how it translates to in game.

That simple animation works well, I like it so far.

Implemented a text line at the start of every level. Not sure what it's going to be used for at the moment, maybe little clues for the level or instructions or even just a stupid one liner.

Mainly did it cause keep hearing about people using xml to setup game elements and wanted to see how I could setup a xml file and use it in flash. Wasn't too difficult which was good and think it's something really handy to know. Think I'll be trying to use it for other elements of the game or just keep it in my game library to use it in other projects. Also nice that I just have to edit the xml file instead of flash to change the text now.

Indeed a glorious day we face where INANI has blessed us by sending us protectors who will find out these rebels and punish them for the crimes they have committed against our peaceful socity.

Long live INANI!
