Inconsistency tends to accumulate frustration in players. If you think you gotta shoot that flying guy three times before he'll get close enough to be a threat, but it takes five shots instead, then you can't prioritize your actions nearly as well.
The view that any criticism of a thing, regardless of the validity of the assertions, should just be written off as petulant social posturing, is a complete sidestep to actual discourse.

Starbucks roasts all of the flavor out of their beans and then boils it at stupidly hot temperatures for too long and sells it for way too much. There is a reason most people get coffee-based drinks that are mainly sugar and cream and foam and not just coffee.
Straight coffee can be a delicious thing in its own right.

Oh yeah, I don't mean to be disparaging or anything, it's definitely a cool toy. I just don't see it as anything that's going to be sustainable outside of maybe ~100 units sold. Of course, the world would be a better place if I were wrong about this.
