So as far I can understand she goes out once to mate and after that she never mates again and uses up the stored sperm

This is game design related I think so;

I know that honey bees are like drone mates queen and queen lays eggs fertilized/unfertilized. However how many fertilized eggs (estimated) can a queen lay with a single mating and can a queen mate with multiple bees before a single "laying" as in like storing more sperm

I should've declared that I was talking about an int/numeric type array, so 0 is the way it was when it was first created

I wonder if anyone knows the results for both of these cases in languages without GC;

1) I have an array full of data, I go through each element and set them back to 0
2) I have an array full of data, I do "array = new array"
