Yeah I'm a Canuck. I got mine at EB as well. Didn't know they only do those in North America, apparently. Odd. And silly.

PSN - sugarbeard

As for those without credit cards, I don't have one either. So I just went to my local games shop and bought a 20$ PSN Card. No credit card needed.

Also I hear that there's a patch that's going to be coming out soon-ish to fix the issues with online. I've been lucky enough to not have any problems online. Never had a problem connecting, and never had any lag that was unbearable.

I'm actually a big fan of Fat Princess. The game is pretty much bleeding with style. I can shove cake in that girls mouth all day. My only gripe is that it's a game that pretty much requires voice chat to win the round. Most games end in stalemates cuz no one is really coordinating in the teams. Since most people that play online on the PS3 don't have headsets, it makes it kinda difficult to get a good strategy going.

But if you can hook up with a couple of friends with headsets, then the party really gets rolling.

My DS borked on me last summer during an insane down pour of rain while it was in my bag. I've put off getting a new one for this long... but I just can't wait anymore. Scribblenauts is probably my most anticipated title this year across all consoles.

It's relevant because it's calling bullshit on the very attitude splayed across this rant in glorious beard-o-colour.

Dude. Stop ragging on beards. My majestic man-beard can eat you whole.

The isolation felt at the open seas. Surrounded by water that you can not drink and that drops deeper and deeper and deeper. The home of the Kraken.

At this very moment I am sitting in a coffee shop downtown listen to the Cabana EP by Tree Wave.

Amazing band. Also the creator of the SynthCart.

My personal favorite NFB film (and piece of Canadian film in general)...

Yes Sir! Madame http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0352002/

You wont find it to stream on the NFB site unfortunately, in fact I've only ever seen 1 copy in my whole life which I had to track down at a local library. It's a "documentary" (or is it) about a man who's mother just died and she leaves him a camera and a couple of rolls of film and tells him to do something with it. So he documents his life. EXTREMELY thought provoking, and profoundly disturbing.

909's are sexy little drums. But personally I prefer the 808. This is a great topic. Keep it going.

Alice by Jan Svankmajer

 Shocked Shocked Shocked

This movie gave me nightmares for a week. So fucked up. But so incredible.

Just saw a showing of Moon last night. Great sci-fi flick. One of the best I've seen in a long while. Highly recommended.
