yeah, something to make it easier - temp indicators on the border of screen would work well
they're interesting because it allows exaggerated motion but in a not totally controlled sense: with dk barrels it's still this one stuck path (same with outland rings) - but with these you choose the direction and as soon as you're moving you have normal air control. they're fun to play with and i'm glad there's that One Area that is centered around them...will be fun.......though i'm definitely open to more than one

That reminds me of a mechanic that was in outland, was it in one of the videos you watched or is that just a huge coincident? (Though I'm pretty sure the outland analog was fixed direction and therefor not as fun or cool) Also Jon that looks really pretty even for a wip wow. yeah that's the thing i saw from outalnd that i liked, but i changed it to be cooler (based on energy and direction etc - you can control it etc).

as far as my level design work i am working on this one area and i think i am finished-ish with the gauntelt. filling in the nature area.
feel like procrastinating on that, so i am going to move on to a different nature area. there are clouds and religion and i will leave it
at that

i feel like tiling will be a lot of work...? the main areas seem to be between 10-15 maps each hnnnnnnggggghhhhh
i would want to split up that work but the tiling in eto is a lot more nuanced than andoyne
(and so I can't really do it. well i can but it will look bad)
whatever the game will be cool
IT'S ABOUT THE JOURNEY NOT THE END HURR HUR HUR
i feel like the areas will be visually and audio-ly interesting from a unique standpoint though - the tiling is really nontraditional from what i can tell
