It'd be nice if they had some way of picking optional modes (like diretide, sure) for people to play as well, akin to LoL's dominion. Maybe if they just reskinned the candies to be something else?

Hell, the Hitman games were saved entirely by being milked all to hell; if anyone ever tells you the original Hitman was any good punch them in the face because they are an idiot. Similarly, people sometimes like to complain that RE4 ended the era of the tank-control Resident Evils, but it was a good change after the execrable Code Veronica and RE0 -- I don't want to know what they would have made if they continued on that line.
