Dawn of the Second Day The day broke peacefully, as if nothing were wrong at all in the snowed-in hotel. Guests chatted over breakfast nervously… but hopefully – after all, perhaps the deaths had, after all, been just a fluke? A stranger, a murderer, fled in the night? That Fraxcell, he was a suspicious one to be sure, not even bothering to turn up for breakfast… It was the maid who found him, and SirNiko’s screams could be heard even in the dining room where most of the guests were gathered, listening to the wireless and fretting about the weather as usual. “I just went in to change the linens,” SirNiko explained once he had calmed down, “and I saw him sprawled out like he’d been savaged by some… some… animal!” His calm, so obvious during the day before, was visibly shaken. “You should have put faith in military action,” declared Colonel Nix. “We’d have had this situation sorted out already, just like back in my day!” To be sure, it seemed that the lynching yesterday had done little to stem the tide of violence. The tableau was much like before; smashed glass and bedclothes strewn about. They found Fraxcell’s pocketwatch in his pocket, smashed – it told them that the crime had happened early in the morning of Day TwoInanimate Geeze Tanner Abraham YG Fraxcell (mauled) Ashkin SirNiko Wade McGillis Nix Fission Mailed poe (lynched)

I haven't heard from several of the night players, but we need to keep things moving. The night will end in a few hours, whether or not you've voted.
Don't worry entirely; if you pick no-one for your role's ability and your action doesn't have a permanent effect, I will select your target at random. Be told!

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-08-09-dark-souls-pc-preview-the-devils-bargainOn close inspection, it appears that Dark Souls PC uses the very same 1024x720 internal framebuffer as the console versions, regardless of which resolution has been set in the menus. The option provided is for output resolution only so locked at 30fps and nasty resolution. though he mentions the fps has improved in some areas like blight town, and there is at least an option to disable motion blur (hate that in games). I expect someone to figure out how to bypass the 30fps lock, but I find it unlikely they would be able to force the game to run at a higher resolution? They might; some other games have had the same stupid locked resolution in their ports and people have fixed it. Resolution hacks are one of the most common in videogaming, I think; it's probably more likely they could do that without problems than fix the FPS (which might, as with LA Noire, cause irreparable timing issues). I hope so, anyway; I'd like to play it in a good port instead of a rubbish one.

Dawn of the First Night "You're going to get lynched if you don't come out with something much more substantial than what you've just provided," cried SirNiko -- and as if by magic, the clock chimed the hour of tallying votes. The people had spoken... and Father Poe has been found wanting. As the sun descended (remarkably slowly) towards nightfall, the hotel's tenants descended upon the priest's humble quarters. Unnervingly, he seemed to know why they had come; as they entered they could hear him finishing up one last catechism. "I knew," he said , "that once Crowe was dead that I would be the first to go. Who could vouch for me but the man who asked me to come? A man's philosophy means nothing to those who ignore its meaning, and a man's faith is meaningless to those who have lost it. I only ask that you do not ask me to do the deed for you -- let the burden be on your own souls, not mine." In they end they made Ashkin do the job, as the first to cast a vote against the man. How he did it, he refused to say. "This reminds me of young Barry Finlan," Abraham YG offered; "he was thought a wicked man too, but he died like a saint. I won't believe a man can become a wolf until I see it with my own eyes -- even if I might need my spectacles to do it!" After that outburst, there was little enough to say. Everyone voiced their hopes that the snow would be cleared in the morning and retired at last to bed. The danger was surely over... but most of them locked their doors once they were out of eachothers' sight. The First Nighthad begun. Get your night actions in, everyone! Don't forget to share all PMs with me, and good luck. there is a story of thor 2??
how well does saturn emulation work
Pretty well, though because of how weird the saturn's 3d was (squares instead of triangles) you won't get the higher resolution graphics you can with ps2/wii/whatever emulation, since it has to be done in software mode. Just find the latest SSF build you can and use that; it's the only one that really works.

Alright. This was maybe unclear, so I want to point out that unless you have specifically been given something to state authoritatively (i.e. through your role's ability) you can't do it. Think of it as physical evidence which you can show to people to prove something, which is always true. So don't use red text for anything else.
I bring this up because people are posting their jobs and such when this may be untrue or cannot be proven. You can't prove you're who you say you are (unless your role actually says that you can as part of your ability).
Basically, unless you specifically know that you can state something irrefutably, do not do so. Just think about it like this: even if you know something is true doesn't mean you have physical evidence to that effect to show to others.

Start of the First Day The next morning brought with it a terrible sight – not only had Inspector Crowe’s door been knocked down despite the deadbolt and padlock, and not only had he been killed, but there were no kippers to be found for breakfast. This last point offended only Colonel Nix, who had seen enough death in his time to know that it was best faced with a good meal. The others were not so hardy; indeed, Inanimate was almost taken ill at the sight of the murder – for murder it clearly was. No accident could account for the disarray in the room, nor the almost animalistic way in which the body had been set about. In the fireplace lay burning what was likely his evidence for this day’s expose; those staying in the hotel would have to find the culprit (or culprits) themselves. Father Poe was brought in to give the last rites as best he could, given the circumstances, but this was merely prolonging the ever-present question of what to do. Indeed, what could be done? The Colonel advocated immediate martial law (“just as we had in my time in the Army!”) to maintain control and find the perpetrators – but, as in this case martial law would simply mean him, he was turned down. He settled for another bottle of whiskey as the others discussed what should be done. In the end, it was old Ms. Abraham YG who offered a solution: trial by jury, as best as could be done. And that, as they say, was that. In such dire circumstances, Day One BeginsDon't worry; the starting day was short because it was mostly an excuse to get certain roles set up; the rest will be much longer to allow time to vote. Similarly, we skipped the night phase, both because nothing untoward had happened and to allow the game to progress quickly. Speaking of voting, from now on, you will be able to vote on whom you have decided is guilty of lyncanthropy! You do not have to vote each day, and can change your vote at any time up until the day ends. The player with the highest votes will, of course, be executed. In case of a tie, it will be decided at random, so be warned.

By the way, don't forget to CC me with any Private Messages you may send -- I may need them. I think everyone who needed to do something has done so, so the day will end in a few hours and we'll go right into the proper part of this thing, yes?
