I think the origin of motorcycles power is irrelevant. It looks blue, so I understand that its some kind of futuristic technology. Alien or otherwise.

Also the gun shoots blue energy so that just solidifies that there is some alien energy source that people use for various reasons.

Thats sort of what the block mode is, just CTF.

I thought about adding a "paint" mode where whenever you touch a piece of terrain it changes to your color and whoever has the most colored blocks at the end is the winner.

Also a basketball mode.

How about combining the two and having it so that players compete to drop coloured blocpks into a stack? That could be really cool. Or not. I'm not sure...

It's on hold for a bit but it's progressing quite well. I should have something playable when I get back to it in the summer.

How about BLOCPK? I hope you don't abandon that entirely - I thought it was shaping up real purdy.

Not entirely. I will finish it but I have no idea how to make it more of a game. Its really flat right now.

I also really want to make a gem stacking puzzle game. The programming logic behind it is interesting to me so I'm going to work on that for a few.

I need to take a break for a while. The more and more I test the game the less fun I find it.

Its like shitty Samurai Gunn or Tower Fall. It needs something else to be worth anything, and right now it doesnt have whatever that thing is.

I'm going to just... focus on another little programming thing I want to do and come back to block when I have some more ideas.

Impliment tackle
Tile sets
Ammo crate sprites
Fix ammo crate behavior
Couple of different levels
environmental hazards (spikes, lava, etc)
HUD

If anybody wants to help on any of this ish just let me know.

That guy is pretty good. I've watched most of his videos. This is where I got my initial collision code. He even mentions that there will be a bug exactly like I'm experiencing but never goes on to correct it. Some day. Giggle

I was actually able to solve it today by rearranging some stuff. I felt pretty stupid.

Then I immediately turn around and find yet another collision bug. I think the problems are coming from my sprite masks changing when an image is flipped. Just to test it I rebuilt the collision with the simplest possible sprites, a couple of squares, and I had no such issues.

I'll test the mask theory once I know more about them. Otherwise I may just need to slap in some code to push the player OUT of an object if hes intersecting it.

Because I was using the free tileset that Cell just posted?

Even if it WASNT someone elses tileset, and even if it WAS just shitty placeholder art that I had made, I can (and will) post it wherever I feel like because I want to. And besides I wasn't asking for critiques or criticisms in the first place.

the mixed resolutions looks really bad tbh with you man. i like cell's tiles and the sprites for your game, but they don't gel together at all
