Thanks guys, though I have no idea what you tried to say.

great game!

Thank you.

While a bit depressing, the game does a very good job at getting its message to the player Smiley Good job

Is there something wrong with being a bit (or more) depressing? Do games always have to be cheerful or at least not depressing?

Thanks.

Memento Mori is a short game about death.

Play it here

It was made rather quickly in Construct 2. My friend Morvan made the music, I made everything else.

The hits/kills need to feel more satisfying, though maybe it's just because gifs have no sound. I suggest a screen shake, particle effects or something.

I've found that adding frames for getting hit goes a long way

Maybe a color blink over the sprite, like it blinks red or something.

I listened to both without paying attention and couldn't notice the difference, so either is good.

Every time I listen to your songs, my girlfriend comments "that's a cute song". She didn't know it was all from the same game until I told her today. She's your fan.

You should say zeldalike, it's less offensive than zeldaclone.

Recap monday!

Made floor, draggable artists, paintings and painting mechanics with merging brushstrokes.
479  Feedback / DevLogs / Re: Painters Guild on: June 30, 2013, 12:18:01 PM
Thanks again. Conker: Some day. I've made a little goals list for the game and devlog:

10% - Working Prototype (sell paintings, other painting mechanics)
20% - Guild Mechanics (place furniture etc)
30% - Artists (Hiring, stats, appearance...)
40% - Commissions
50% - Paiting procedural generation
60% - Teaching & Learning
70% - Sprites, Animations, juice and UI
80% - Menus and options
90% - Sound & Music
100% - Playtesting

Tracking painting progress (number above canvas). Small blue brushstroke is worth 1, big is worth 3.

Thanks!

Improved the merging juice, now the merged blob gradually becomes bigger.

Also thinking of making the blobs colored brushstrokes. So In this gif you see a bunch of blue brushstrokes. Maybe this way merging can create new colors (blue + yellow = green).
