Updated the graphics!  Coffee Though the game is still the same as it was in november, aside from the graphics and a few sound effects updated.

SuperPong! is a tribute to one of the first video games, pong.
I made it in about 12 or so hours.
I could not make a 2 player scoring system in game maker so you'll have to use pen and paper.

Fine, there tiles. I really do not get why you people care about the fact those arent voxels so much.  Concerned

Fine, they are not voxels, they are 2D objects that are supposed to look like cubes.

Judging by the screenshot, I would say large influences are Fez and possibly Super Mario Bro's?

I'm afraid that the art isn't great at the moment, but that's often the case with programmer art. You've said you don't get along with GIMP, so perhaps once you've got a tech-demo together hire someone who is somewhat experienced with pixel art or photoshop or something?

Yes, it is definitely inspired by FEZ. But not really super mario.

1.I dont care about the hate on comic sans.
2.Websites dont have to look amazing.
3.I can barely use GIMP.

Thank you

They are supposed to *LOOK* like voxels, smartass. If i try to make this into a 3D game, it will never be released, let alone 10% finished.
EDIT:W3REWOLF, Are you joking?

I cant tell whether this topic is a joke or not. Also why would you need ten million dollars? Theres something called Game Maker.  Undecided
20  Feedback / DevLogs / Re: CubeLand on: October 31, 2012, 06:37:52 PM
Hmmm... Well, i guess theres one thing, i dont want to reveal the other parts though. The game will be split into 5 "Zones" Which are just small areas that have a big monolith-like thing blocking the exit, and when you get all the hats in that area, the monolith goes down so you can get to the next
zone.
