I hate socially inept nerds, but I love indie games.
I see you're trying to point out some kind of hypocrisy in my statements. There is none. Mainstream games are mostly played by socially inept nerds and mountain dew guzzling frat boys (they are also all brown), whereas indie games are both made and played exclusively by real artists who want to Further The Medium Of Videogames. Don't forget the hipsters. I know many that play indie game but they play the bad ones. It almost seems they find the most obscure games just because nobody has played them.

Sony could have handled it better too by giving people more info and not telling people about the breach.
"Sony could have handled it better too by telling people they were breached but not telling people about the breach." Wow what's wrong with me? I was posting at early times in the morning I'll make sure not to do that again.

Professed my feelings for someone
Don't do that. Especially with a girl, don't ever be weak That really bugs me but it's true, and I thought girls like sensitive guys? Whatever happened to that. Anyway the same thing happened to me except it wasn't feelings of love. I was really stressed out and depressed at the moment and I talked to this girl about it once and now we never really talk much anymore.

So who do you think hacked PSN and stole the information then?
...Well, the current suspect list consists of: - Anyone in the entire world. - No one [Sony says they "believe" a breach of customer information took place]. However the claim from the Reddit poster linked earlier in the thread appears to be that quite a number of people were hacking PSN for a couple days there, because it turned out to be really easy and instructions for doing so were available openly on the internetI believe that the instructions were only for downloading PSN goods for free and not the theft of personal information. http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/04/26/clarifying-a-few-psn-points/It states in this post that there WAS an intrusion and that user information WAS compromised so somebody hacked it and I think that whoever it was (I personally think it is someone from Anonymous) deserves quite a bit of the blame for the incident. Sony could have handled it better too by giving people more info and not telling people about the breach.

Since Sony hasn't had any hacking problems with the PS3 until recently so Sony seems to have had a pretty decent level of security if it took hackers that long. I also feel like Anonymous does have some power when Sony closed down some of their stores in response to threat obviously there is something to be worried about.
Edit: also just because people hack all the time doesn't mean it's right. People also shoplift all the time and yet somehow it's still a crime.

But I think what people fail to realize is that anonymous stated that they were going to launch an attack on Sony, this wasn't just a standard hacking to get free stuff. In the analogy used earlier it's not just a break in where they happened to take to lock box and by accident it had your birth certificate, in this case the robbers broke in with the intent to steal your birth certificate.

For those curious how the breach happened, this is an interesting blurb: http://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/gx6o4/im_a_moderator_over_at_psxscenecom_the_real/Basically it sounds like people were getting on the PSN "developer network" which has heightened access to information. There was no further authentication past the fact that your console identified itself as a dev console. That is the irresponsible part. I'm not a security expert but with a little digging you can read about how the hack worked. This was not a super smart hacker vs. ironclad Sony security -- Sony overlooked a gaping security hole and waited two weeks before shutting the service down to do something about it. They do not deserve any of your sympathy. Well I wasn't aware of that. I retract my previous statements but I still don't think the onus is all on Sony, I can understand people who hack for homebrew or just for fun but to steal information for millions of people is a little over the line.

Burnout Paradise and Hidden: Source 4b
What do you think of Burnout Paradise? I was a HUGE fan of the Burnout series until I got Paradise.... which I absolutely hate. I found it completely devoid of the charm of the other games, and just empty in general... I never played any of the other Burnout games, but I like Paradise. It's not incredible quality, but it's free-roam and it's racing, and that's one of my favorite ways to sink time. (The likes of NFSUG2 and that other free-roam one that I can't recall the name of) God in my opinion Underground 2 was the peak of the series. The free roaming and customization we so much fun. I played that game to death. After that Need for Speed started going downhill.

So many people know that PSN has been down for a few days recently and Sony has claim it was for "maintenance". Everybody knows that this is bullshit and it got hacked. Sony finally released an update today but it's bad news. Personal info including names, addresses, and credit card information have been stolen. A lot of people think that Anonymous hacked it as retaliation for Sony's actions against Geo-Hot. Here is the blog post about it http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/04/26/update-on-playstation-network-and-qriocity/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+PSBlog+%28PlayStation.Blog%29&utm_content=Google+ReaderSo what do you guys think about it? I'm angry but not at Sony (now that I actually got informed about how it was hacked Sony is partially to blame). If Anonymous did something because they don't like Sony, don't steal innocent people's information. I find it is quite similar to terrorist actions, suicide bombers hate the government but civilians are punished. My information was on there and I can only hope that nothing bad happens with it.

I never found opening any of the other DSs a problem whatsoever. The square part may just be a matter of preference but the button is far bigger than it needs to be. The DS-lite slider or the DSi button would have sufficed.

Yeah think GoldenEye did that because you can always see the gun shifting around but in games like Call of Duty they are pretty stationary. How do Wii FPS's do hip firing because the crosshair moves all around the screen instead of being just in the center.

I'll edit this with an image and I'll circle all the stuff cause it's hard to desribe but on I'm not talking inner workings I mean like buttons and sliders and such. I thought that the DSLite design was the best in the DS series.
