Yeah, TIGS definitely has it's childish topics and once in a while childish bickering too but it almost never disturbs the actual or serious discussions. While in GMC for example there is some much kids who try to prove their worth and fail when NPT comes to nuke them down.
That's the only part I miss of being there is watching people tear idiots apart but then other people tell them not to be harsh and ruin the party.

Hey I just wanted to say the game looks great and I was wondering if you had any plans for multiplayer on or offline so you could go into dungeons cooperatively.

Same, I couldn't handle all the crap that I had to sift through there about kids making a 2d remake of world of war craft with a team of three but still keep all the same features. There were some cool people mostly in advanced though.

I watched the illusionist today and the animation was stunning. I am curious if anyone knows how they do that kind of stuff. I thought it was a pretty depressing story though I felt bad for him.

I'm 15 and I'm just learning about making games and such. I've made few but they're pretty bad. I hope to go into the games industry in some form or another and I'm really interested in computer science and programming.
I have quite a bit of money at the moments somewhere around 1400 Canadian dollars of my personal savings. I think wanting more is a dumb question. Everyone wants more money. I tend to have a lot because I enjoy saving money and I try not to buy too many things I don't need. I occasionally splurge and spend like $20 on one meal like I did today. I am usually pretty relax on loaning money and I should keep track of it more than I do.
I have a part-time job as a receptionist a a chiropractors office and it pays well. I work a slim six hours a week and make $12 an hour. I also babysit for about $8 an hour and I umpire little kids baseball for $20 bucks a game. I generally like my jobs but at the chiropractors office if there are no appointments there's nothing to do and I can't really do anything productive so that's kinda bad but generally it's good.
I don't have a budget because I don't have any expenses but I try to stay on top of my money. I would like to go to college or university for computer science or something similar like software engineering.
My ideal life is probably running a small indie studio with maybe 4-7 people and just make games. I don't really use any tools. I bought a GM license and I use that for pixel art and stuff so I don't really need much else. My school has the adobe creative suite so if I need to I use that.

Lucky I'm probably just gonna get a friend or my brother to play through all of them with me. I don't know enough people who are into indie gaming to have a party.

Your server has very nice download speeds I'm getting > 1mb a second! I usually only get that from Steam.

I was inspired by Sublinimal's success just digging in a random direction so I tried my own but I made it so that the direction picking goes like this. There's a 1 in 5 chance to go in any of the 4 directions but there is an extra 1 in 5 odds that you will continue going in the same direction. This leads to less wide open rooms and more hallways. After that I go through and delete any walls that have open space on two opposite side of it. This is all automated. Here a screenshot blue is the start green is the end.

Something that I kind of like in the games like GTA and such is know that the world doesn't depend on me. I could just stand there for 20 minutes and the "people" in the game would just continue their lives. It gives a good feeling of immersion like you are actually in a living breathing city.

Not sure if anyone here has tried but there are a couple tutorials on how to do some simple mods so I think I might try one out. If anyone could give me any tips on doing it that would be good too. Some of the mods I've seen are incredible like the mo creatures one. Anyway I'll update this once I've tried a couple times.
