We're a team of five who were originally part of THQ Studios Uk, before being closed down last year. There's myself (designer), two coders, an artist and a business development guy.

We were lucky enough to have a relationship with Games Workshop already after working on a Warhammer 40k game for them last year. They offered us the Talisman license and we've finally released the first game, Prologue, and are working on the follow up now.

It's a board/card game with a fantasy theme. The player moves around the board and draws from a random card deck, which could be a fight, some treasure, a follower or a random event.
The board game has been around for nearly 30 years.

I appreciate that I'm new here and this might appear to be 'spam' but I wanted to announce my new game - Talisman Prologue - based on the Games Workshop adventure board game.

I have only stumbled upon this forum today and it looks like it's full of experienced guys whom I'd like to learn from about all aspects of indie development. I've been in the games industry for 17 years but only been part of an indie team for the last year or so.

My name is Carl Jackson and I work for a UK indie developer called Nomad Games. We were originally THQ Studios UK, but were closed last year and four of us formed Nomad Games.

We've just released our first game, Talisman Prologue, based on Games Workshop's classic board game. We're selling the game through our website and from some other portals, but we're also attempting to get through Steam Greenlight, which is proving a challenge!
